“It’s like synchronized swimming.”😂😂😂 Love it. Your Mum is so cute. I have a great relationship with my mom as well, so I love seeing you two together. Hugs from Nevada, Cathy❤
Aren't Mum amazing! Your mum is beautiful. Mymum was a prolific knitter, she tried to teach me but i didnt get the knitting gene. Good thing i can so. Cheers to you Hannah and you too Christine. 😊
So nice to see you both enjoying & making those 'baskets' together. Maybe on the next visit your Mum could choose a surprise project for you to do. Happy sewing to you both as always Christine 😍
Hello from Wyoming USA… and thank you for all your very easy to follow helpful videos. What a great way to use up small pieces of fabric. My sewing skills have improved a great deal and I owe it all to you. Your time saving process is amazing, thank you again. “Ugo”
So great to see "MOM" as a guest. It looks as if she is getting more comfortable being on camera. Maybe that means we'll see her more often? That is MY hope any way. Have a grand visit with each-other.
I wish I sewed with my mother! We crocheted when I was little but she knitted some beautiful intricate things and never taught me! I sure miss her! Hi to your beautiful mom
Love ❤️ this! How wonderful it is to have your Mom there sewing with you! My Mom is legally blind now, and I can't even share pictures with her. 😢 I think these are great ladt minute craft fair projects! Thanks so much!
It would be lovely listening to her life stories karen. Although blind, she'd have a lot of memories worth talking about. My granmother went blind as well, and used to freak me out when she went out for walks by herself😀
@ChristinesHomeAffairs Christine, she is turning 89 next month. She is mentally sound, and still bakes; plays the harp! Her Father was an RCAF WW2 Flight Commander who she lost at age 7. The stories are incredible!
I love it when your mom is sewing with you. My mom taught me to sew at a young age, one of the favorite things she taught me. Watching the 2 of you brings back some good memories of mom.
These would be super cute in a nursery. And would be so easy to coordinate with existing decor. Thank you so much! I was so happy to see your mom. You guys are truly so sweet together.
Your mum is a sweetie. Your storage baskets would be great for the dressing table, pop your jewellery in them when you get ready for bed. Would make a lovely gift for someone, complete with a necklace inside .
Really enjoyed your video. Your mom is lovely. When you were trimming the corners I thought it look like synchronised swimming then you said “ it looks like we are synchronised swimming “. It’s a wonder you didn’t hear me laughing and I am in the UK. The basket is lovely too. Xx
It was the other way around for us. Mum used to come to craft shows with me, then started quilting when she got sick of hearing me tell people how easy some things were😀
might have to make some of these. Was just gifted a car load (no exageration, they well falling out when he lifted the hatchback...) of fabric swatch books, and also wallpaper books. some of them match, so.. project bags with matching zippered notion pouches, and also notebooks. will keep me busy all winter, and I often look to you for ideas and inspiration.
That was surprisingly simple, and you gave instructions on sizing. I thought the smaller one was too small, but it was deceiving, once you put things in it. I make baskets for baby shower gifts. They're great to put those tiny baby things, like pacifiers, nail clippers, medicine for diaper changes, if needed. You can put them on the changing pad, or others in different places, like the bathroom, to hold soap and shampoo... whatever. It's like having that third or fourth arm needed with babies. New moms really like them. I never had a changing table, I just slipped a pad underneath my kids. Same with burp clothes. Why? Just throw a towel or old receiving blanket on your shoulder. Mine still managed to spit up in my hair😅. I had 3 within 2 1/2 years of each other. The oldest and youngest were my sister's children, but I raised them. They were simply "the girls". 😊 It's great to see your Mum. You are blessed to have a mother interested in your creations. ❤😊 Hello to Hannah 👋
Omg Christine, you have a similar look hands as your mom,how cute is that , very nice looking on camera ❤❤her hands looks very good, doesn’t she has any arthritis as she is aged women, you are lucky women Christine you still have your mom around…
Hi Christine, I’m a keen follower of your work over the years, very inspirational. I’ve managed to get some upholstery fabric books recently and plan to make bags in the hopes to raise funds for the charity I support. I remember you mentioning “in a link” where you source your continuous zips but cannot find it. I would also like to know which double sided tape is your preferred choice and lastly, where I can get the webbing and bag hardware from. I live in W.A
Hi Sharon. is that WA as in Western Australia? If so, I have the webbing on my website www.stitchthis.com.au I get the continuous zippers from Mrecht in Melbourne, but there are cheaper suppliers around too. I am waiting on an order from an overseas supplier for DS tape that I can also sell, but currently purchase mine from Amazon USA as it's cheaper than here. It's the HOBO brand.
@@ChristinesHomeAffairs That's great! I am from Saarbrücken (Saarbruecken) Germany near the French- Luxembourg border. I love your projects and videos. I Hope, I can visit you in Australia one time! 🤗

Very cute! I think I would sew a top stitch, so tempting but that’s just me 😊Thank you!
I was tempted to, but this time around thought it might be better without the ridge the topstitching would create😀
Great project! And lovely seeing your Mum again!
Thanks rebecca😀

Christine, I was thinking you might decorate it with those little premade rosettes.
That would have been a little too girly for mum and I😀
Really enjoyed your video. Your mom is lovely. When you were trimming the corners I thought it look like synchronised swimming then you said “ it looks like we are synchronised swimming “. It’s a wonder you didn’t hear me laughing and I am in the UK. The basket is lovely too. Xx

👋 Hi Mum!
🧺🪡🪡🪡 HI MOM!! good job, cute little baskets🥰🥰🥰
Thanks Joy. We had loads of fun😀
❤
Good morning, if it's hard to get the little stitch done, it could be done with the top stitch and it could hold all of it together. I think 😊
Yes, the topstitching would help keep it together😀
