Love how laid back and unassuming Chris is. His builds are incredible and that Mustang is unreal…love how he’s prepared to break with tradition and runs the LS-3 because it made sense for his particular application. Great video…👍🏼👍🏼😊😊👏🏼👏🏼🔥🔥❤️
I don't know why people seem to think the only engine options are the absolute newest engines. There are engines other than the LS or Coyote that would have produced the same power. The LS really cheapens the build. Not because it's a Chevy in a Ford, but because it's the most basic choice possible. Custom work everywhere, but a Wal-Mart LS crate motor under the hood. Would have been epic to see a Cleveland with a full Weber IR intake. Also-- claims to hate fake scoops, but runs a hood scoop when the carb feeds from ducts.
@@berube361 I don't have to bake a cake to know if a cake tastes bad. I don't have to write a song to know if a song is out of tune. I don't have to make a movie to talk about bad acting. And I don't have to build a car to point out problems with a build. Besides, I have built cars.
Love the detail and craftsmanship on the Mustang! Incredible garage of vehicles to boot. Would of been really kool to see a stroker small block Ford with EFI in the engine bay though.
Real nice build, just wish it had a Ford motor in it. Not all restomod/restored old Fords has to have a Coyote, a stroker small block Ford would've been 👌🏻
Great except for the greatest old school Mustang motors are the 429 side Oiler the 429 Cobra Jet. The 427 thunderjet Cobra Jet. The only old school Mustang built with a small block were made for women and small children
As soon as he said there's an LS3 in a Mustang, I tuned out. So it's not a BOSS Mustang or a 427. What's wrong with keeping it the way it's supposed to be if you appreciate a Mustang and a BOSS 427. I don't even own a Mustang, but still appreciate the passion that Ford put in building Mustangs. C'mooon man!!
100% disgusting. He had plenty of options but because he's a chevy fanboy all they can think is LS swapping EVERYTHING. I doubt those Mopars even have Mopar engines in them.
I agree, badging it as a BOSS 427 and dropping that LS hurt my soul…I was looking forward to some sweet ass big block and killed the feed as soon as he said LS…
Chris, it's Jason from Brookings. I would still like to widebody my 69 GTO. Maybe one day! Your shop is incredible. Great job on everything especially the gt40 you did!
I drove a 70 Mach 1 fastback, with a 351 Windsor and FMX transmission (I think), and a 9 inch axle. I bought it in 1997-or-1998 for $400! It needed a quarter panel and mild mechanical repairs to get it back on the road! I did, but sold it within an year. I went through a lot of muscle cars during those two years and just before graduating high school! Agh! I regret letting go of some of those cars.
Love the build. The engine annoys me. Not enough to hit dislike, but enough that I can't hit the like button. Shoulda put a Cleveland in there, or at a minimum detune one of the modern versions they've been using in NASCAR. Yes I know you can't just push a button and have one show up at your door, but the history and reputation is worth it in my opinion. To me the engine is the heart and soul of a vehicle and you cheaped out on it.
A well done car, I can feel the love, the time, the sweat and the money .. but the LS in it makes my heart hurt, this car could be ordered with big blocks, even 429 boss towers would have given you room, and you can easily do a small block ford into a 427 at the same HP level, even more .. .. love the rest of it, the engine hurts my soul
Yeah agree, but I love that he’s prepared to break with tradition and he’s probably getting the same HP out of the LS for a lot less expense that what he would put of an all alloy SBF Windsor? Aside from the understandable reaction to the motor choice - which there will always be a reaction to 😉 - the build is next level and very, very cool! 😎👍🏼😊
Amazing build. The craftsmanship is next level. So much to love. Seems like you really went the extra mile to keep the car legit. So to speak. Got the manual on how turn a mustang into a race car. So much trans am and Nascar influence. Went so far as to make the vents functional. But then put a LS in it. Ok so maybe a coyote wouldn't fit. A 427 cubic inch Windsor motor would have. Then the boss 427 badge wouldn't feel like such a slap in the face to the boss 302, boss 351, or boss 429. But it's your car. Love it anyway.
I looked it up. LS3 is 6.2L or 376 cid. The reason I question this is I have a car with an LS7 (7L or 427 cid). Just wondering. The 427 engine has a l o n g history of hi-perf both Chevy and Ford!
Really SWEET build! Love the functional vents and the nascar gas lines. But i love the body work! Thanks for the video. I would like to see more of his work.
I’d have something like that severely wrapped around a tree in no time, but man, the the short time before that event would be exhilarating! Beautiful build.
I really dig your build. I completely understand the LS under the hood. Sweet car man! To this day the 70 is my personal favorite. My dream car is a grabber blue Boss 429
Finally a builder that hates fake vents ,louvers and scoops..and make them all functional..!!amazing
What thinking the same thing
Thats one dreamy garage! creds to this guy for building one insane mustang as well!
When I think classic mustang... this comes to my head
Best Mustang Build I’ve seen in a decade or more. I like his GT40 build too.
Talk about talent and passion, truly inspirational
I saw this in person at SEMA a few years ago, it became my favorite car by far.

Feel free to build your own then if you want to complain about his lol.

That mustang looks great. Perfect color to.
Love the detail and craftsmanship on the Mustang! Incredible garage of vehicles to boot. Would of been really kool to see a stroker small block Ford with EFI in the engine bay though.
Simply amazing! The level of detail and work involved do not go unnoticed. Definitely a one of a kind car.
That Mustang looks sick! Awesome work! Love the stance.
Real nice build, just wish it had a Ford motor in it. Not all restomod/restored old Fords has to have a Coyote, a stroker small block Ford would've been 👌🏻
Right? A modern aluminum 5.8 Windsor can be stroked to 427
Great except for the greatest old school Mustang motors are the 429 side Oiler the 429 Cobra Jet. The 427 thunderjet Cobra Jet. The only old school Mustang built with a small block were made for women and small children
@@grizfan16 Yes that's right I forgot the Boss 302 & 351 engines were just grocery getter engines weren't they? anymore amazing insights for us?
Everything about this Mustang is perfect. I love how he kept the old-school tech.
everything but the motor
His aesthetic taste is just incredible. What an artist.
I've stumbled upon this car a few month ago and fall instantly for it.
Now I'm doing my self build Bobber in the same colour/design.
Just WOW
Mate that is awesome, great work 👍
Probably the coolest muscle car build I know of !
One of the best looking mustangs👍👍👍
That BAC Mono is amazing! What a great collection. Owner has a passion, you can tell.. and really knows his stuff!
Gorgeous , and the color 💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚
He popped the hood and broke my heart. Sick build though.
Love it. One of the best mustangs I've ever seen.
Ashton did an awesome job on this mustang
Incredible... Totally insane. Love it...
This is what I want to build when I retire. Good job!
that is the literal definition of a badass car
Chris - Oh My Gosh you do Amazing work. Its art. Glad I found your station. Thank you.
This guy is an artist.
On the outside maybe, but under the hood he's an uninspired hack.
Nothing like driving a car that's really yours, built and designed..... become s part of you in a way.great job good sir love it.

@@ST_DCT lol killed the feed lol
That Mustang is so beautiful it is downright painful. What a glorious machine.
Another piece of art simply amazing nailed it again man.
Awesome build! 🔥👍
Absolutely badass 👍
Absolutely gorgeous!
this guy is a purist, with a focus on taste
what an amazing vehicle, its like a piece of art
Who cares what other people think? This was your car and your build, if you're happy it doesn't matter
what others think? Great looking car.
Mate you’re an inspiration!!
Chris, it's Jason from Brookings. I would still like to widebody my 69 GTO. Maybe one day! Your shop is incredible. Great job on everything especially the gt40 you did!
I want to believe that the engineers at Ford proposed something close to this in 1969/70 for production , but the " Bean Counters " killed it . 😁
Very nice job..love the Mustang..😉😊

no words can really describe this build but here i go
extremely breath taking 👍👍👍

I agree Scott, needs a ford engine, otherwise the car feels different driving, torque, mid range, such a bad ass car though!
When you build one, you can put whatever engine you want in it.
Once he said ls I was done
Yup, stopped watching as soon as the LS was known. What a boring engine. Yeah it makes cheap power. But just not very interesting.
That mustang is completed to perfection
That mustang is incredible
I was all in until the LS3 😂. There are good ford engines at the 650hp range
Seems there are many of us that stopped watching after seeing that abomination of a motor in that sweet ass car
What a great craftsman. Built Ford tough with Chevy stuff!!!!
Beautiful car love the trans-am racing inspired styling ,but I would have had to have a 427 FE big block in it, but to each his own.
This car is badass, this dude is badass
Blasphemous, great build, had a 70 with a Cleveland, love that car. Once I saw the LS under the hood I didn't even finish watching the vid
Now that is probably the best looking car I have ever seen.
one of the worlds beautifulest car.
that car is just soooooo BAD ASSS !
What a beauty of mustang boss 427, it looks better then all of the cars today
this is the most beautiful mustang i have ever seen besides hoonicorn
Master craftmanship with an awesome product. Thanks for sharing.
This guy has my hot wheels collection as his cars props to him
this man love green xD
Damn, once the scarecrow got his brains he went nuts with the cars.
I wonder whats 1970s still left on this car xD Anyway it looks like a BEAST !! Great job.
It was all good, until he opened the hood! Such a shame! 347 would've fit perfect ( 302 based) and make awesome power!
Wow! Just wow!!
BEST STANG I have seem in a long time
Love it!!!
What an amazing build! Well done great vision.
I'm a Chevy guy and I've never been a fan of the Mustangs but damn that thing is nice!

😆 "I didn't want someone to think I went super crazy with the mustang..." love your builds I wouldn't change a thing
damn... this is pure art
Easily, the best looking modified mustang I have ever seen.
Absolutely beautiful machine. Bravo sir. 🫡
Wow 🤩
Boy, that’s one cool looking car.
You've succeed in synthesizing no improving all the most appealing mustang aesthetics. That slight slope in the nose etc wow.
Great looking Mustang, 👍👍
You had me till you said LS. Shoulda put SS badges over the the 427 instead of BOSS.
Awesome. Next vid should be starting and revving each beauty
What a beauty.
great workmanship.
I like the front end on this model but still like the dip of the 67 centre section between the tailights.
Great vid!!!!!!!!! 👍👍👍

Now that's one realy cool garage
What a great car, love it, a bit disappointed he didn't start it though. This young guy has a nice collection of rides, he does some great work.
#jealous color is my favorite green 🔥🥰
Amazing build 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽
I followed that guy for years, so sad some of his cars were effected in that mud slide but I’m glad he was able to make this happen still.
Wow!!!!! Love it!!
🇺🇸👍🇺🇸🤙🇺🇸✌️
Stunning
Ruffian is a brand now brother 🖤🖤
Very cool Mustang
I’d have something like that severely wrapped around a tree in no time, but man, the the short time before that event would be exhilarating! Beautiful build.
Really really nice Mustang.
I really dig your build. I completely understand the LS under the hood. Sweet car man! To this day the 70 is my personal favorite. My dream car is a grabber blue Boss 429
