  • Hi, and welcome
In this video, I'll show you how to do a couple of things that are not quite basic but not too advanced. They are things that I needed to do and I had to figure out how to do them because there was not a UA-cam tutorial on these steps for this. I will not be showing baby steps like opening and exporting files. I promise to show each step and NOT skip over anything.
I'm going to share those steps with you because the final out that I was able to come up with worked really well I think.
This is being recorded in June of 2024. I’m using Audacity version 3.4.2 which is not the latest version because I have an important plug-in that I use that is not updated for the current version of Audacity at this point.
    There are as follows:
    1. Splitting a stereo tracks so that we have two separate tracks to perform an effect on.
    2. Insert silence because the speaker had not left enough pauses in the dialog
    3. Use the Tremolo effect to make the background music or sounds sway/move gently from the left to right channel speakers. For this effect, it’s a good idea to use headphones if your computer speakers won’t allow you to hear good separation. This effect was used for creating a relaxing hypnosis audio session.
