Life-like Bluegill Lure Build | Part 1

This is one I have wanted to do for a while. This style of swimbait can be challenging to do with all the joints being molded into the bait itself. I like a challenge though and I learned a ton on this project. Be sure to check in for part two where I make a mold, pour a couple out of resin, and paint some beautiful panfish patterns on them! I want to share method for carving find that I learned from another carving channel.
When carving small find, leave them attached to a larger section rather that cutting them out entirely in the beginning.
This gives you something more substantial to hold onto while carving, giving you more control.
Cut it off and finish after separating.

First time to see your videos impressive I do not have Instagram but was interested in what you have suggested with new types of lures I have an idea but will have to explain.
I am an Irishman in yakutia (Siberia) at the end of the open water season I was fortunate to be invited to join my friends on a fishing trip for tymen very big trout up to 50 kg. The lure that is favoured is a mouse type lure made to float. While they are good I think they could be improved just wanted to ask what would you think on how to make such a lure they would be useful for pike also
