    Kris "just Play good hockey" Knobloch. Honestly the best coach and must be in serious conversation for the Jack Adams. Keep it up coach!! Jan-Apr and the Playoffs are ours!!

      Great coach, biggest asset is his ability to really know his players and get the best out of them. Team it’s calmer because he is, mostly has pushed them to be more mature on the ice and avoid those dumb penalties when frustration used to set in

    Wondering how many first goals are because of Bouchard turning the puck over, Skinner getting used to first shot first goal, should play Pickard then put Skinner in after first goal.

      It doesnt matter what the Oilers try to do, rewind last years playoffs....... the Oilers were down 3-0 in the series for a "reason" and that reason was removed for Game 4-5-6...the Anaconda hold on their System was released....intentionally.....then for Game 7 the Star of the show stepped up to the plate and hit a Grandslam by deconstructing the Oilers System for the opposition and putting it on a Silver Platter PRE-GAME . Why work hard all Season trying to manifest 6 game losing streaks by slicing hamstrings when you can just sit and relax until you see the whites of their eyes then simply snipe the Apricot.Put a few sheckles down in Vegas that the Oilers fall in the first Round this Season no matter who they play. Someone once I think it was JAFO said there will be no Stanley Cups for Mcdavid in Edmonton, Nail Yakupov says hi. Systems and Coaches win games.... in that order.

    Absolutely dominant 3-1 win tonight over Ottawa, and it’s clear now…the Cup is ours! The boys are on fire, and with performances like that, there’s no stopping us. Sure, we let one slip in, but let’s be real…Bouchard totally lost his man on that goal. I mean, seriously, how does he not clear that? It’s like he forgot how to play defense for a second. If we want to go all the way, he needs to get his act together because that mistake almost cost us the game. But hey, that’s the beauty of being an Oilers fan…we always find a way to win, no matter the circumstances.
    And let's talk about Calgary for a second. The Flames? Please. The Oilers are on a whole other level. It’s not even close. We’ve got McDavid, Draisaitl, and the whole squad, while Calgary is still trying to figure out how to win a game in the first place. Honestly, it's embarrassing for them to even be mentioned in the same breath. The Battle of Alberta is over… Edmonton reigns supreme, and it's not even a competition at this point!

      I've been an Oiler and Eskie fan for a very long time. And, what I've observed is you should never trash another team or it's fans. It always seems to come back and bite you in the ass.

    Good to see the wins, but we’ve be “OUT HIT” by the opposing teams these games, we need to look at the grinding factor so that our skilled players are not being grind down in the playoff

      Likely coaches want to relax and encourage him by telling him all is fine. But its a fine line. He makes large enough errors that he directly causes a goal against almost every game it seems.... sometimes team can score thru it. But vs tough teams will not be able to - so he has to cut them down. OTT 1st goal he really just held back & coasted into corner rather avoiding the OTT player - that situation is low effort and he needs to be told he must hurry the guy he is checking..... vs just go slack to avoid hits etc. Also he sometimes avoids front of net for that reason- so he can work on those things

      Too much pressure to get that big contract. You didn’t forget how to play, relax man and just block out the noise and play hockey like you are not carrying the whole defence . You didn’t become a bad D overnight , start playing with the confidence you had. Your team and coaching staff have your back, or you would be sitting on the bench, not getting a lot of ice time like you are

    When are you going to address the elephant in the room namely Evan Bouchard ! I like him ,he has great offensive skill but his defensive skills are dreadful. Every game 2 and 3 giveaways giving up on the play, I think he is a lazy player.

    Send Bouchard to AHL or trade him ))🤪 He's not a defenseman and gives the Oilers trouble every game.
    The injured Hyman, wearing a mask, played 21 minutes and scored again! Let's go Oilers!

    knoblauch saying jeff skinner needs to play good hockey i understand he hasnt been the greatest defender but you have a guy in the top 6 who has 3 goals and 11 points in 33 games where hes been mostly playing with a superstar player in draisaitl.... and has had multiple grade a scoring chances and hasnt put any in besides 3 in 3 games and hes not exactly doing anything special to stay in the top 6 make this make sense knoblauch because quite a few fans are wondering???

    • @BlackMasakari
      @BlackMasakari 19 днів тому +3

      "mostly playing with a superstar like Leon Draisaitl".
      No - he has been mostly playing on lines 3 and 4 and that is because of the first 3 lines playing well, so no place for him, sadly.
      It's weird, we could ahve Skinner and Nuge on line 4, cause the first 3 lines are simply playing well.

    • @spectralflop823
      @spectralflop823 18 днів тому +2

      @@BlackMasakarinuge will always play in the first line, especially when healthy. He’s too consistent & reliable to play on bottom 6 lines. Right now we jus have too many players that we can juggle on our top6 line. I think once Kaner gets healthy it’ll balance out all 4 lines.
