This book is a teaching by Herman Hesse, in a way he is also teaching us. Also, I do not believe that sach ke do pehlu hotey hain. Truth in itself is so beautiful that truth can only be one. Two people can have a different circumstances, different ideologies, different wishes but truth is only one. What I do agree with is that one should be a good listener.
Truth is one but we only see an aspect of it, not in its wholeness bcz we are limited by our gross sense. If we rise beyond our five senses and look within we may see the whole truth. Hence meditation.

में आप से असहमत हूँ, मैंने कई बार ध्यान अवस्था मे आनंद की अनुभव किया है जो व्यवहारिक जगत में भौतिक वस्तुओं से नही होता।
पश्चिमी सभ्यता के विचार और दर्शन पूर्वी विचार और दर्शन से भिन्न है।
बिना जाने और अनुभव किये बिना उसे सिरे से नकार देना मूढ़ता है।
अंग्रेजी शिक्षा व्यवस्था अध्यात्म नहीं समझा सकती, सब कुछ त्याग करना प्रेम है, उसी तरह सब कुछ ज्ञान हासिल कर लेने के बाद भी अपने आप को अज्ञानी समझना अध्यात्म है
Spritual होने का मतलब यह नहीं की आपको शांति मिलेगी , spritual होने का मतलब हे , आप शांति देने वाली व विचलित करने वाली चीज़ों मे अंतर कर पाए ।
