Worked there in the 90's. Great place to work and I met so many famous people through there. The downstairs looks like I remember it except for the host stand at the front door used to be against the wall and was a longer table. The upstairs used to be a dining room with a small wall bar that was used as overflow for the crowds during the summer months. Otherwise it was for fine dining for the Hampshire House(Melville's on the show). The owner, Tom Kershaw, owns the entire building and lives on the top two floors of the place. We used to have awesome staff parties there. Good times thanks for helping bring some of them back.
Cheers is the most fun bar ever! The best place to be on Friday and Saturday nights to bring your friends for lots of drinking, lots of laughs, and lots of fun! After 11 fun filled seasons and 33 years later, the legacy of Cheers will live in the hearts of millions, including mine. Cheers to all of you!!!
Took a photo of the iconic outside in '87, and bought the Cheers shot glass too. All the way from New Zealand....loved watching the show....and I don't even drink !!
😂😂😂i think my mama an pupa, went to visit here before an much more in it as well but something made me laugh as baby they wad saying to others after came back from other trip stopped on way in from holiday
The bar should be remodeled to look like the one on the TV show. The floor would have to be dug out another three to four feet, the whole bar would have to be turned 90 degrees counter-clockwise and some of the back rooms would have to be removed.

I know where I'm going when I visit Boston!!!
The upstairs should be a seafood restaurant?
I just heard this bar is closing (permanently) at the end of August! Bummer!!
The one in Faneuil Hall is closing. The original is there to stay.
WRONG, IT SAYS ON THE SIGN 1969!!!!
Sign is wrong...and so are you!
@@TomHallOnline, Cheers, the TV show version was founded in 1895. The real bar, the Bull & Finch has only been around since 1969.
