UOAF BMS Event 606 - Operation “Bloody Nose"

North Korean forces have launched a surprise attack and quickly occupied large areas south of the 38th parallel, including Seoul and surrounding areas. US Forces have begun amassing for a counterattack while North Korea is digging in to protect their gains.
We have been successful in destroying the Seoul area SAM network and area air bases. This success allows us to now concentrate on attacking DPRK ground forces.
- Strong enemy armored forces are advancing south vicinity Asan Town and southeast vicinity of Icheon City.
- Current tasking will be against units of the 5th Armored Brigade advancing southeast vicinity of Icheon City. 25th Squadron A-10s will be striking the enemy armor advancing south of Asan Town
Commander's Intent:
- Strike Changhowon Bridge to halt and isolate the DPRK 5th Armored Brigade
- Locate and attack elements 5th Brigade
- Strike multiple signal/radar sites to assist future operations
- Enemy air and ground forces attritted
