Alot of these things fit me, I'm 16 and haven't been diagnosed and I'm not sure how to bring it up to my teachers or my parents. The field of work that I've chose needs me to be able to hear people over loud sounds. Even in a quiet room I won't be able to understand all that they are saying. It's frustrating and people just end up thinking I'm stupid

      I'm sorry about that
Hope you find strength to bring it up to your parents and teachers

I think I'm in a similar situation to you - I'm 15 and fit most of these apart from being behind in academic lessons, which I've always been in the top set for. I haven't been diagnosed either, but we've had my hearing tested ever since I was tiny and had to put dolls in a boat when the beep came 😂. Every time it came back as perfect and left me and my parents very confused because something clearly wasn't right. Last time the audiologist said if we were sure there's a problem it's probably a processing thing because my hearing is fine, so I've been looking into this and all the comments finally feel like people understand me. I've told my parents thousands of times that "I can hear people are saying something but can't understand what they're saying" but they're convinced I'm just ignoring them because the tests came back fine. It gets worse in loud environments like at school or in a city, or when teachers wear visors now and it echos about, or if people have accents. I can't think of anything else it could be but I'm not sure how to bring it up to my parents either. I'm doing music production and technology in college next year which needs excellent hearing, which I've gambled on thinking that I do have fine _hearing_ so if I focus on it I'll be fine 😬😂. Did you tell your parents yet? I also just realized how long this is lmao

Extroverted intuition is the name of having a lot of possibilities and ideas.
