I picked a couple of the "standard" one in Hanoi last month. I wound up playing it on stage at the first university in Viet Nam. Also played a dan bau there too. More people need to hear and enjoy these. Everyone I play it for ends up smiling! Don't we need more of that. I also talk thru it (sounds like a vocoder). I just put up Red House - Dan Moi. Please check it out. Thanks.

I'm right handed but I play with my left hand. It shouldn't matter right? They're all symmetrical aren't they?

there are another kind that come in wooden boxes you will find on amazon. so far i have found them to be the deepest and longest sustaining dan moi. they do break after prolonged use but are far more solid than all the vietnamese and french ones that come in bamboo cases.

ah fair enough I have ordered from your store many times before. The dan moi I prefer is the thicker single tan version of the 'slim brass dan moi in case' that is available on your sound for health amazon store. I ordered one today from your store to be delivered to cuxton. What in your opinion is the longest lasting single tan?

Love playing mine, just got the Dan Moi and much prefer it to the ones that rest on your teeth, for some reason i get better control over the boing noise using the corner of my mouth to get the bouncy spring sound if that makes sense, can not put it down, how long have you been playing?

He didn't. He's left handed so he play with his left thumb, which means he hold the dan moi with his right hand.
