When I listen to this type of music, I realize that I don’t really have any good memories to look back on. Im forced to create scenarios that I wish happened as I was growing up, and i get sucked into a whirlpool of nostalgia.
The same is for me, I feel like I always try to create distorted and beautiful memories inside my mind to enjoy this kind of music. It's depressing...
I can share some of my good memories if you like, if it gets ya into a better state of mind. Maybe it'll remind you of what a good memory is, so you can remember your own. And make more of your own, too!
So, you're over at your friends house, and you don't see him often. So you're just enjoying your company with him. He then says we should go skate around and just talk about life on the street. So we do that, at 1:00am. The streets are empty and dimly lit, and you just explore the boulevard, cracking jokes and getting a little too real. You skate, just enjoying yourself, until you realize the sun is rising. You and your friend decide it's time to head back to his house, and instead of eating and getting some rest, you just sit down and play Call Of Duty: Black Ops Zombies until you have to get back home to do homework that's due the next day.
I've got more to share, if anyone cares, but that's just one of them. I hope it helps.

Advice for fellow artist- when u listen to this type of music, vaporwave, aesthetic etc and you can't think of anything to draw listen to the music carefully and imagine what type of scenery would fit like the beach, the city etc and there u go let ur mind go wild it works every time trust me

Listening to this at 5 am in the morning when you can't sleep, and hour before your alarm goes off and you get ready for school
I first heard this song while on vacation for spring break. It was late at night and I had my 17 year old dog in my lap, and was browsing the internet. Found this song and really enjoyed it. She died of cancer about a month ago. Every time I get it I can’t help but think about her. But now we have a new puppy that’s the sweetest thing ever which has helped. But I still miss her.
This made me think of Christmas time at my grandparents house as kid. When the small tree they had was lit up with these cool old school bulbs with water in them at night and the old Rudolph playing on the TV. Then it all started to fade and change. The glitchy effects toward the end reminded me it was a dream of a bygone era. They have both passed and that house has been sold. The only thing left from those times is in my memory, slowly fading away as the years tick by...
This reminds me of coming home from a birthday party as a kid. the sun setting and I smell like outside. You lean your head on the window as your moms driving almost falling asleep but don't want to. So you just watch the road and the sun setting in peace.
This is seriously the perfect song to listen to when you're upset. I was having an episode and its already been hours, this came on and I calmed down and felt at peace. I'm experiencing so much pain and sorrow yet nothing at once.

this song takes me back when i was a little kid, like, really little, going to my grandma's house when she had to babysit me, i'd often spend the night. the song reminds me of when i'd be in her room, eating chicken noodle soup on a standing tv tray, sitting on the edge of her queen bed, watching what was the earlier days of nick jr, when it was called noggin, moose and zee talking about the shows, and different moral messages, as the stars twinkled outside. i was surrounded by vintage pink rose patterns, plushies, vcr tapes, wooden furniture, tea sets, thin lace curtains, matte lipsticks, perfumes, and the prettiest jewelry that i had ever seen. those were the years i was happiest, before i knew how cruel the world could actually be, and being a sheltered child ensured my shock when i got older. i want to go back to that. i want to go back, and experience those things again, but, i suppose it wouldn't have the same magic. i had turned on this music for literally one moment, and immediately remembered something i thought i had forgotten. it makes me feel comfort. i hope it comforts everyone else as well.
