He's another person who was a voice and image that defined our time (the mf 90s). We know Fredro. We all eff w/ Fredro. He da homie.
He doesn't define me and other intellectual blks. Every other word he says isN. He's veryuneducated and ignet.
facts. i was born in 93 & when i think about those mid-late 90’s as a young kid, hes of one of the faces i see
*Who's WE*
He's a cornball, lame, herb as you east coast folk used to say
THIS GUY IS 💯!!! HE NEVER EVEN SUED THEM!! CLASS ACT
Yea because if he tried, Suge woulda stomped Fredo’s lil ass 🤷♀️
Fredro Starr is one of the realest ones out there.....shout out to Sticky Fingaz... hopefully we'll get more Onyx Albums coming soon in the Future .....Also Rest In Peace "Boss" 🕊️ 🙏🏾🕊️🙏🏾🕊️🙏🏾🕊️🙏🏾
I hope they don’t music again. They’re tracks are boring 🤷♀️
@justineebourgeois3420 Boring??You crazy. Nothing was boring about their tracks. Their tracks were live and get you hyped. I can imagine the music you listen to, Square.
@@HH-xw7qtexactly, plenty of their songs on my gym Playlist, they get u hype when u working out
@@HH-xw7qtyeah whoever that goofy is, they Definitely tripping saying onyx music Is boring. They music is everything except boring...
Boss still ill R.I.P
Better believe it! I seen her in concert here in Detroit 6 yrs ago... That's Boss on Tupac Makavelli Album too doing the hook on "ME and my Girlfriend". Lot of people didn't know that.
She was one of the illest female rappers ever. Definitely most hardcore
That’s why u got to leave your homies that don’t know how to act behind snoop had the wrong people with him on that tour 🤦♂️ I completely understand why bro is mad for sure 💯
Yes indeed and definitely a Mistake I won't make when it's my Time to shine
Its always the entourage that fucks everything up.
He tell good stories. We rock with Fredro Starr in Atlanta
@@NoneofYabiz-rx3zi y’all be dissing for no reason. Lol man internet screwed the world up 😅
@@NoneofYabiz-rx3ziI'm dead on everything imagine magic City playing Fredro starr
I never heard nothing bad about this brotha glad to see him back out here
Yep beside him getting beat up by 50 cent I never heard nothing bad either.
Didn't dmx clown him during that famous breakfast club interview where he dissed drake? X made it sound like Fredro was over animated and on his jock.
.. but Fredro does seem cool overall
Fun fact: Sticky was supposed to sign to Aftermath in the early days. He also said, Remember Me wasn't supposed to be an Eminem song, it was supposed go on a Dr Dre album
And I tell cats Sticky spank'd Em on that song & so did X to Da Z on Bish Plz.
A sticky album produced by Dre would have been dope. Stickys 1st solo album was nice
He also did the hook for Snoop's Buck'em on the NL top Dogg album which was also produced by Dre
I can honestly say that the stories told here are more compelling than many others bc this dude is a good actor himself!!!!!!🔥
(Interviewer) “Daaammnn the whole police department” 😂😂
Ironic how Reggie said Onyx was nothing, but yet yall had them on tour with yall
So moral of the story is, always do the film roles because even back then that was vhs money, then dvd and now it'd be residuals from streaming services and the gateway to more movie roles!! You can't put your financial future in the hands of others because as told by Fredro, other artists were responsible for them losing money in more ways than one!!
I would have sued the shit out of Dre and Snoop. I agree with Fredro on this one.
Damn boss died yo??? My pops put me on her track deeper been rockin ever since Def hurts to hear that she passed. she was so talented as a female mc nobody talks about her rip love
Damn that movie made $180 million with only a $23 million budget..he would’ve got bigger roles
Fredro Starr would've been good in movies like American Gangster (2008), Never Die Alone (2004), The Ladies Man (2000), Ghost Dog (1999), I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997) and Cabin Fever (2002) [In Cabin Fever, Fredro Starr will be the only survivor]
Funny thing is they used the same set/video years later when I went to ‘The Up in Smoke’ tour! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Dangerous Minds is one of the best movies of the 90s and it is too bad that Fredro had to leave that over tour. But at least here he mentioned Bow Wow. Bow Wow was saying his and many folks didn't believe him.
Fredro could have declined and continued on with Dangerous Minds. But the movie really blew up. Maybe it was for the best that all of this happened for a reason. But it would have been interesting to know what would happen if Fredro stayed with the movie instead of that tour.
Can’t decline nothing when you’re under contracts and labels. Do as they say.
Dangerous minds was a huge hit! Sunset Park role did him more justice tho, it fit him better.
Fredro Starr should've stayed in acting roles. He was getting paid more in acting.
right they do bow wow so dirty in the rap community like he ain't a big part of hip hop
Thank you for showing love too Boss, Detroit Love💙💯🎯🏆You had me cracking up watching your interview. Keeping it real at the same time.💯🎯💣 You need to back on the screen😂Real Talk,

I know he saying a lot of stuff stories that y’all think he lying but honestly back in the day he was definitely all over the place tv shows, movies, music etc.
Dude explaining the up un smoke tour skit like we didnt see it 1000 times😂
The Up In Smoke video was an updated version of The Chronic video. Same premise. More titties. Definitely more titties.
That’s exactly why you can’t take everybody along in journey with you. Gotta leave them behind because they eventually f up your money
Boss was ahead of her time fr...
She was definitely dope when she dropped..
RIP Boss
My favorite movie with Fredro Starr in it was “Strapped”. Me & my brother use to watch that movie when we was kids & reenact every scene with him.
That’s wild how egos can ruin anything
Dangerous Minds was based on the book "my posse don't do homework" from my home turf East Palo Alto, which was the Murder Capital in 1992. Also known as the small town cemetery.
Respect for showing love to Boss
I saw The Chronic Tour at The Arrowhead Pond in Anaheim! Guess the fellas started it in LA! That was the dopest stage set I ever seen for Hip Hop! Only Pink Floyd can beat!
..and yet Suges the bad guy...imagine what it cost him- and did he recoup anything due to their stupidity?
🌑🌇🎷Onyx was Da Hardcore Of NY Hiphop Back in Those Early to Mid 90’s
💙🖤💙🖤
I always hear amazing things about Michelle Phifer. I wish this man could have done more films Fred was about to be a huge actor. I hate that we missed seeing him grow.
i looked up BOSS , Deeper as soon as he said it . Wow , the song is def dope !
Salute And Respect 👑
Fredro always been solid
Sunset park what time is it? It's time to get live! It's time to represent!!
Fredro Starr! Yo son! That's my man! - in my DMX voice
I rocked the one sleeve cut off playing AAU ball coming up cuz of Fredro in Sunset Park, that was my ish and Loved Onyx, don't get enough Love
I remember that tour.. they talked about the snoop and dre incident in source magazine. (Still got magazine)
The Up In Smoke Tour is hip hop history. Before the Up In Smoke Tour and the Backstage Tour there had never been a rap Tour doing Pop Superstar Tour numbers. A rap tour like those were very hard to insure, which made them a huge risk to investors/producers. In '98, '99 when those tours happened it was a MUST to keep the shows violence free and Dr. DRE and Jay-Z pulled it off. I guarantee this 50 cop cars at the hotel incident took a phone call from Interscope or some ultra rich investors to squash
that Up & Smoke Tour so legendary
Great interviews!
"Yo...what the FK is GOING ON??" 😂😂😂😂
Drop the full interview
THAT'S CRAZY I DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT THAT AND THAT'S WRONG THAT THEY DID THAT TO FREDRO IF THAT'S TRUE BECAUSE SOMETIMES LIKE TO PUT THEIR TWIST INTO IT AND FIND DIFFERENT WAYS TO REWRITE HISTORY WHEN THEY KNOW DEEP DOWN INSIDE IT'S ALREADY WRITTEN AND DOCUMENTED.
GOOD THING YOU CAPITALIZES EVERY WORD OTHERWISE WE NEVER WOULD HAVE HEARD WHAT YOU WERE TRYING TO HEAR!
@@sykadelik459 YUP LOL I DO THAT BECAUSE THAT'S HOW YOU CAN GET OTHER PEOPLE'S ATTENTION AND MAKES THEM MOST OF THEM WANT TO HAVE INTERESTING CONVERSATIONS WITH YOU
I could see fredro in dangerous minds .. damn thats messed up
The movie on the tour that Fredo is describing sounds like the one from the Up in Smoke Tour that happened right after Chronic 2001. Not sure if they did a similar short film for the original Chroonic
It's called "The Robbery" back in 1992. It's on UA-cam. Dr. Dre is wearing purple plaid shirt. It's a short film distributed by Death Row Records.
R.I.P Boss!!!
wait; that Tour-Intro was for the Up in Smoke tour, but the rest was the 1st Chronic Tour, or did Dre & Snoop run-it-back with the intro with a do-over, or am I buggin?🤔
So glad I unfollowed the "op" and came over here with Art! He asks great questions and allows his guests to talk which I appreciate!!! By the way Fredro is a great storyteller and actor I would love to see him onscreen more.
Speaking of merch, what up with that ONYX Hoodie, tho? That's clean.
Damn that's messed up.
One of the best movies - Dangerous Minds. This guy is a beast of an actor!
He was-FIRE-in Sunset Park-too.It's still a very GOOD movie, have it on dvd.
He wasn't in Dangerous Minds the movie. But he did play in 1 one episode of the t.v. Version of Dangerous Minds which lasted 1 season.
@@davidmaez7253 I know that he wasn’t in the movie but it still was a good movie. And I believe that he is a very good actor.
@Deb.-on9ep He made me look it up because I saw that movie and don't remember him. But yeah I think Fredro can act his ass off I wonder why he hasn't played in anything in a grip
@@davidmaez7253 Agree. It’s a lot of projects he would have been great in. He has the look and swag.
R.I.P. Boss , met her a few years ago and she was an absolute angel and she also was very beautiful ❤ 🙏
I would loved to have seen The Chronic Tour. I bet that shit was 🔥. I hope they have a taping of it on here.
The up and smoke tour is basically the Chronic Tour in the 99/2000. With added Eminem, Xzibit.
Boss had the flow that was straight fire! R.I.P Lichelle Laws aka BOSS!!!!
You got paid and film credits for Rehearsal?🔥🔥🔥
RIP BOSS 🙏🙏🙏🙏😔
Salute Boss💯
Why does IMDB say you were in Dangerous Minds the tv series? 🤔
They bow wow be cappin, put some respect on that man!
Fredro Starr is the new Tony Yayo. His stories are fantastic
R.i.p to boss legend
I be wanting to time travel 😩 back to the 90s I can't be the only 1 who feels 👀💯 that......
Aite Art your content is better but be more consistent with the uploads bro.
Low key, Fredro is the only other actor I saw to come with the intensity of Tupac. I loved him in Strapped. I always thought Dangerous Minds was whack. That ish would've been off the chain if he was in it. It probably would've taken him to another level.
Great stuff Fredro Starr been a fan since a kid or the acting everything from sunset park to moesha and rap up to beatin Keith Murray in a battle
Deeper and Deeper was 🔥. RIP BOSS
What about the getting hog tied situation. Lol
Boondocks was legendary for speaking on "N*gga moments" I know I'm blessed more than money or my current situation, just because I survived too any of those moments 1992-2003. It's still in my blood, but like Dave Chapelle said. Keeping it real goes wrong. Even if it ain't you, someone else keeping it real can go bad for you too fellas and ladies 💯💯💯🫡🙏🏽
Years later we still find out sht we never knew
Snoop should hit Fredro up and apologize about that and throw Fredro a mil
Omg I never knew this God is great I was at one of the 5 shows in Rochester NY and that was the day I found my life path . Watching them on the stage that night I knew that I wanted to be in the music industry somehow someway and here it is 30 some years later I'm a successful music producer.
i remember buying my ticket and then it got cancelled
Malikah playing Fredo Starr
Damn. Yeah he’s right. Making a clothing item yourself is not too pricey, however when your dealing with a company that makes clothes in mass numbers then yeah, naturally their gonna hit an artist over the head when it comes to a merch deal, that’s why a popular artist like a Drake or Travis $cott will sell a hoodie or T shirt that’s plain cotton and will fade and shrink eventually for a ridiculous price lol.
hes talking about murder was the case movie. i rememebr it use to be on pay perview but was only like 15 min lol
Fredro you need to write a book
Perhaps is a sign that one should always go with their firs thought
That skit was from the “Up In Smoke” Tour…… year 2000
There’s another version I saw last year that looked more low budget and snoop and dre looked a lot younger.
In alternate universe Fredro was in dangerous minds I swear
Dre a billionaire pay that up dre and snoop yall got it
Lol, Dre don't even give AF about his own kids financially, ain't no way he breakin u off sum bread for sumthing that happened back in the 90's
He s spitting real facts right there .
That movie was legendary aswell lol
Boss definitely a legend 🔥 She from the Westside of Detroit ✅️
Didn't DJ Quik discover her when he first went on tour in Detroit with his first album? She was so lit they wanted to make sure she got on AMG album before it came out later that year but she never was directly in their crew. She did have a interview sayin her second album would have production from Quik,Erick Sermon, and some other dope producers but when people found out she went to a private school that ruined her career I think
Uncensored interviews!!!
Fredro did an outstanding job in the movie "Strapped"
That movie shit he talking about they showed it on the Up and Smoke Tour
😭😂🤣😭😂🤣 it blew the fuck up that was my role
He still tight 😂👊🏽
The Up in Smoke tour DVD had the same movie befor Dre and Snoop came out
Maybe now people will believe Bow Wow 😆
I believe this happened in Kilwaukee, Wisconsin.
Wow Fredro speaking facts
What I appreciate about Art he let his guests talk and not interrupt like you know who
Glad
Word 😂🤣🤣😂😊@@spoken2
Real talk lol. You wonder is Art still in the room!? haha Its good
