I love this garden. I have loved all of the gardens but personal gardens are a bit more special. Each rose and flower is there because it is chosen and loved by the gardener. Summer Song is glorious in a garden. You can tell it is very well loved and happy there. Maybe someday we'll get to give her a home in our gardens as well.
Lol…@2:57 you spot your favorite rose. Summer song. It is beautiful. I don’t have a David Austin rose yet. My zone is 10 b I believe. I really like Desdemona. I hope that if I get her that she will do well here on my patio in a big terra cotta pot. This is a beautiful garden.

Of all your recent tour videos this is my favorite because of the personal nature of the garden crossed with a top rose gardener. Thanks for creating and posting this. Also appreciate how much of a David Austin completist you are -- and general rosarian. Great information.
I usually don't like vibrant colored roses (like reds, coral/orange, or hot pinks) but Summer Song is so pretty and luscious! It'll be more beautiful when it's fading to a lighter peachy color. You made me laugh! You! A Rose Geek/Goddess with hundreds of roses (currently crying for your attention) but you were yearning for Summer Song. Just 1 more... Lol. We have the same "Rose Greed" symptom. I wish to have a bigger yard for more rose collection too. Thank you so much for all the garden visit videos. Really enjoy the journey with you. Can't wait to see more development of your Knot garden!!!
@@TheRoseGeek Hope you can get Summer Song in 2025. But I don't think your garden will ever be "completed" bcz there'll be new roses every year LOL. But that makes gardening so exciting and fun... :)

But I finally got Spirit of Freedom, so we'll see! I'm on the hunt for CHARLES RENNIE MACKINTOSH whom i thought had been discontinued but the DA website says it will be back for 2023 >.< My garden is really struggling this year though. I agree with you. Love most of DA roses but Jude is now my favorite--the beautiful pale peachy color and intoxicating fragrance! So divine. Used to like Evelyn but Jude is better and more prolific too. I couldn't get SOF rose. But CRM is also beautiful! An older DA rose. I'd love to get the Lilac Rose but it's discontinue. @@melissatran338 I LOVE lavender roses too so I sure hope they will someday! Wouldn't that be so beautiful? For now though, Poseidon is my absolute best performing lavender rose. I lost Neptune ( hybrid tea) and one of my two Koko Loko roses, so I'm down a few lavender roses now. Room for more!

Lovely film,: good for meditation; but a totally missed opportunity as you named very few of the roses and paid no attention whatsoever to the surrounding foliage that do really enhance the look of roses, some of which may be leggy and others that are more bushy. Ironic that Michael Marriott lists four American species roses as among his favorite roses, yet those roses are almost unknown to American gardeners, rose gardeners included.

My favourite sound! Wind blowing through the plants and trees.
It's loose and natural feeling, without being a weed patch. Very nice.
