You forgot to mention the most important thing - the Chlorella growth factor. To this day, scientists are not quite able to explain what it is - yet, taking chlorella for a while will increase the body's natural healing and rebuilding abilities. It can help repair the gut (as in leaky gut) and nourish a healthy microbiome, thus reducing opportunistic bacteria and yeast in the gut. I find the taste of chlorella easy to take in water but really struggle with spirulina in any form. Yes, I am a chlorella fan! I have tried spirulina a few times and felt the health benefits but chlorella is just so much easier for me to take. I find chlorella a lot drier - spirulina is somehow wet and oily. It has more omega 3 fatty acids, so that may be why. Anyway, after a break it's always good to start slowly - perhaps half a teaspoon a day for the first week - otherwise one ends up running to the toilet with diarrhoea.

Ease in gradually if you have heavy metal toxin problems. They are both excellent for cleaning, but cleaning too fast can be overwhelming. Start with small amount gradually and drink lots of clean water.
My choice is CHLORELLA. Even the taste of chlorella I like more than spirulina. Also, chlorella has lots of iodine (spirulina hasn't) and b12, so nutritionally it is slightly richer than spirulina, but in this video they say differently for some reason(?). Just google and read nutritional value of chlorella and spirulina. But overall both supplements are fantastic. 👌
I think the problem is that you googled a combination of a few vitamins and minerals. They have different nutrients that are more present in each algae. They have different benefits. In terms of essential nutrients, one may consider spirulina to be more nutritive because it has a greater variety of minerals, fatty acids, and a high quantity of protein. So the video is not wrong to consider spirulina more nutritive. But you are also right that if vitamin b-12 is a concern for you, chlorella is a much better option. According to some, you may even avoid spirulina if you have a vitamin B-12 deficiency, like Webmd. Their thoughts are based on an old study from the 1990s. But both are generally considered safe.

Wow maybe that is why I couldn't take spirulina. This is good to know as a thyroid person. I also found that one day my heart rate slowed down a lot. And it didn't feel good. I can however take chlorella.
I began taking spirulina capsules and after several days, I developed a rash on my neck that ran down to my thymous area. I saw Kim Kardashian's consultation with the Medical Medium. She has psoriasis and needed to know the origin. He found that her liver had too much copper and concluded that that was the cause of the skin issue. When I looked at the nutritional profile, I found that spirulina is high in copper. Hence, I learned that that was the cause of the excema. I discontinued using it and the rash has improved. Perhaps using applied kinesiology would help us in knowing which of the two, spirulina or chlorella, would be the best choice. Prune Harris shows how this is done on a UA-cam video. Best of luck to everyone.
Yeah it looks like it is not good for liver i also found that spirulina has some toxins that are bad for liver... If you have any liver problems add fish oil omega 3 acid to your diet or take at least 2 omega 3 capsule a day.

Good answer!
