Kent Armstrong® TEXAS VINTAGE Pickups Demo

I am enjoying my new pickups so much I wanted to upload a quick video. I'm trying to switch pickup lots so you can hear the great balances and tonal differences.
Guitar is a Mexican strat, which has been 'pimped'.
I'm plugged direct into a Marshall DSL 50watt, which is plugged into a 2x12 can loaded with V30's.
Rhy = clean channel (surprise)
Lead = clean channel with 'crunch' engaged

I had this pickups in a old brazilian Tagima. I found this videos because i'd like to remember the sound. These pickups are just awesome.

Interesting, they sound very nice and not a million miles away from my Texas Specials. Still bright and stratty - but quite different from Tex Mex which have more mid range grunt.

Replacing my mim SSS stock this week...tech recommended this set of Kents.....sound great....any thoughts on other Kent SSS that are better than stock that retain sparkle with just tad more grit?
