A fair question of which I couldn't give a precise cost breakdown .
Wildax stack up value wise quite well against their nearest direct competitor Autosleeper and come spec for spec a lot cheaper than the Vantage, IH and Murvi, also cheaper spec for spec than Adria .
I've visited many motorhome factories and van conversions compared to coachbuilts are extremely labour intensive involving multiple people hand building the van from the inside, Wildax take on average 3 weeks on the production line compared to under a day for some similarly priced and specced coachbuilts . Factor in as well a profit margin fir dealer and manufacturer, these have not gone up with price increases its just the cost of every component, utitility , manpower and warranty costs have.However you can justify or not justify anything depending on what you compare it to.
A valid and interesting point though . All you can do is be competitive in the market place and they definitely are that. - Jody
