Tambourine history:
Based on 3 statues found in the ruins of Shosh, the tanbur has a history dating back to about 1500 BC. The tambourine was once made in a variety of rose-shaped bowls common in Iran and Syria, then went to the west through Turkey and Greece, and its oval Bowl was played in Egypt.
It is interpreted from the Tambour to the ancient Iranian three strings, which were played during the Sasanian era, Khosrow Pervez and before that.
The tambourine was considered the instrument of Iranian musicians, and Ibn khardad made the singing of the people of Ri and Tiberias and Dilem with tambourines.

The singer's name is Homayun Shajarian. His father, Mohammad Reza Shajarian, was known as the father of traditional Persian music, and he himself is known as the prince of Persian music. The technique that he uses and has surprised you is called "Tahreer" which is unique to Iranian music and is not heard or very little in the music of other nations. The name of the musician is Sohrab Pournazari, who is one of the best musicians of tambur and kamanche. The instrument he plays in the video is a tambour.
