I’m seeing an anxious client under the influence of her coach. While the direction and flow of the conversation fit nicely within the ICF competencies, I also find the coach’s expressions concerning in some of the pivotal points. I wonder where the client is today with the decision she came away with from this session. Might not communicating her “quality of work” or some such possibility, while gently nudging the ethics point, served her with a more satisfying outcome? Thinking out loud here…
