To run floor cracking analysis with the design rebar, you need to perform linear analysis first and run the design of slab and beam, then run the nonlinear cracking analysis. Otherwise the program will use minimum rebars for floor cracking analysis (as in the video).
I use I9-12900k RTX 3060. You can turn on Direct X to view your results smoothly. Usually, when I draw the model, I use standard graphic. When view results, I use Direct X.
Sir Does the ETABS program take compression and tension steel into consideration in the design when checking the deflection values for beams? Or does it take the area of the concrete section only?
From the CSI forum, the rebar will be considered. If you run the analysis and design, then the section analysis performance will take the previous rebar design. If not, the program will assume the minimum rebar for computing the deflection.
@@EngineerHunterDo you mean that if you analysis and design the beam the program will take the design rebar and if you make a check for long-term deflection before design the program will take the minimum-rebar Is this what you mean, Sir?

Informative and very useful. Thank you
hey, can you tell me wich PC and system do you use? your model looks so smooth and it works very well. thanks
You could go to tool (menu) >> select graphic >>> X Direction. Hope it helps.

Do we Need to Reduce Stiffness or not ?
No need.
Hi, great video! thank you so much! Why can't I download the spreadsheet? How do I find it?
what program do you use to highlight and sound clicked pointer?
how can I get the excel sheet please ?

Why choosing Nonlinear static for determine the deflection?
Because we need to include the cracked effect.
@@EngineerHunter Could you explain what is the different between non linear and linear load? Thank
👍
