My experience living there has been that people nowadays aren't really into clubbing unless they're in college. When they are like in their mid-twenties they'd rather watch movies, play board games, just have a chill night in with their friends or partners. Yes they drink but frankly I've also seen them drink more responsibly than people in India because western culture also emphasizes on personal accountability. My experience living there has been that people nowadays aren't really into clubbing unless they're in college. I am frankly pissed by most of the comments here.
1. This culture is depressing - maybe for you, but for someone else, it's not. Some of these people are having fun. Some of them are pretending to have fun(like I would have done). Some people weren't having fun and left the club. Don't judge everyone the same.
2. This culture is not reality - this IS a part of reality. In some part of the world, someone is clubbing. It's not happening in a computer game or a simulation.
3. Real happiness comes from spirituality, money of course for stability, have a good caring partner and family - spirituality, agreed. But I have seen enough people having stability, caring partner and family, and YET having no happiness. I have also seen enough people going clubbing, but leaving the club lifestyle to find a stable partner. (personal opinion next) I believe that happiness is defined by the absence of sadness, and it's easier to think about how to not be sad compared to how to be happy.
In the end, I will say - STOP JUDGING PEOPLE ON LIMITED INFORMATION ! Some people like clubbing. Some do no. Some people do wild stuff. Others do not. Some people need the content of this UA-cam channel. Others do not. No need to hate this content. (Personal opinion coming again) I personally feel that acknowledging that people have different opinions and different lifestyles than yourself is a sign of humility. It means that you know that you can't have your shit figured out all the time, and looking at other people's lifestyle is a useful information you can learn about. If you don't like it, it's okay.
