To follow up on lead poisoning. D lead and hero wipes are much easier and cheaper than chelation therapy. Trust me there. One place to watch is door latches and steering wheels. I use the hero wipes and swipe my trunk and driver handles after loading all my stuff up. Lead will stick to things and it will stay there till you pick it back up. So wipe areas you touch and don't even think twice about, including your gun grips and mags. It's easy and adds a couple minutes to your pack up for the day
I had a couple spots that i went to for years and every time there was nobody there in south west WA. recently i have noticed a big increase in other shooters or people from oregon coming up. No big deal. Just gives me a reason to explore more spots
At my fathers property in Yakima (east selah) I can literally just open my back door and unload a clip into the ground just to keep the barrels nice and hot

Just so you're aware- you are STRONGLY reccomended to use normal full-size earpro like Peltors or Sordins, because you can still degrade your hearing while using those little earbuds. Why? Simply- powerful sound waves can still damage your inner ear, travelling through the skull bones around your ear. The big over-ear earpro systems deal with that, by covering not only your ears but the immediate area around them as well. Get normal earpro, Mojo🙏🙏🙏

Drove through 16" of fresh snow on bald street tires up a mountain back road for 3ish miles and only got stopped where the snow packed weird. Thanks for introducing that d-lead soap. When I get home from range day, my 3-year-old son always comes running at me to greet me, and I always feel bad because I have to tell him that I can't hug him or touch him till I wash my hands. I'm always worried about getting lead on him. I don't know the possibilities of what that is, or how much is too much, or if he would be okay or not, but I'm not going to find out. I'm going to be washing my hands with that stuff before I go home.

Located in Bellevue, and head out to the pits in Snohomish and near Puyallup. Every so often I'll head out to my property in Fall City, but even there it's becoming an issue to shoot. I always wonder if I'll bump into you guys. Anyways, I'm originally from Eastern Wa, excluding visiting flannel dawned, UA-cam celebrities, you guys should make a serious effort to head over to shoot. It's a completely different world, with Okanogan, Chelan, Methow receiving 1/20 the precipitation of the coast. I grew up in Omak and it literally rains 2x per year. I know it's a trip, but it's totally worth it for an extra hour and a half of driving.

@@petercho546 that's really not up to us to say... the chances are slim with a maintained backstop, but with a rocky backstop like that, it just takes one time. I've shot for years on blm/public land and never had an issue, but I also had a friend go to the range for the first time and catch a fragment of a round in his neck from using a rocky backstop. Happens for sure, it's just physics.

But lately my friends are showing interests and that makes things more difficult so I now must take prepping for the range a lot more serious. Now the only thing is I need to find a good spot. I own a few plots of land in East Washington but it's like almost a three hour drive, so I feel like that's a bit much. How far is it for you to your plot of land for range day and your buddies?
Have you done a “first drills” video yet? As in what do you normally start with once your setup and ready to go?? I have my own methods but a customer/student has been going along and I catch myself second guessing what I should start with haha 🤦 normally it’ll be 9 mil pistols with AR’s too. I’ve got 3 steel plates as well and bring along cardboard I cut myself, works WAY BETTER than store bought crap 👍🏼

You need a parent born in the US, a company to sponsor you, or 10 million dollars. It’s easier for people from third world countries who illegally come in and want to turn one of the best, most freest nations on earth into a third world country to get in and get citizenship than say a Canadian who is a close ally, and comes from a society which is culturally identical to Americas.
Am guessing you guys have some sort of IFAK on your PCs but would say for other shooters, make sure you have a basic first aid kit to hand or in your car, that all the people you are with know how to access and use. I take a small one in my car even when I'm clay shooting. A tourniquet, haemostatic dressings, maybe some quick clot and then all the other basics like plasters/antispetic wipes/eye wash etc. You never know and it's not worth finding out the hard way. Stay safe guys :)

For those that wash your hands after the range *always wash with cold water*. Do it after cleaning as well, frankly I wear gloves.
