I'm new to Mt. I've seen small ones in northern Co. I was surprised to see this, I know the general area there, Lewistown. The one in Billings brought the hail that damaged all the homes. I saw a lotta outa state workers there re siding a lotta homes.
Welcome to the severe weather patterns found in Montana. The area you were in is also called the "highline." I'm so glad you got to experience that and survived. Mother Nature can be so beautiful and harsh all at the same time. Great post!
The highline is basically Northern Montana or Northeastern Montana. It's the plains, flat land along the Canadian border. Oddly enough, Wikipedia has information, so I'll copy that link.
Lalonna Karnes you will notice he does this frequently. He is in the number club. 181 is the 42nd prime number, 42 is special to this club. Daniel 191 is the 43rd prime for your 7
Sterlin , man , that's out in the middle of nOwhere, Co. Lot like Kansas. For some crazy reason they like to hit trailer parks. Saw small ones a far off in Northglenn sittin on my balcony.
It looks like your vehicle's hood has seen better days, lots of hail dents on there. Is this the same vehicle that you were in when the 18-wheeler turned over and slid into you during the tornado a couple of years ago?
It appears to have lightened up by then. The same storm went over my house in the Judith Basin, I could barely make out shapes 1 block away. I thought for sure it was gong to rip the trees out of my yard.
That was INTENSE. Keep up the good work dude, glad you didn't get hit by hail/roofing.
Glad you're alright Dan, that had to have been extremely intense to be in that.
this is why i subscribe to channels like this. I love this stuff!
Thanks 😁 I have lived in MT all my life, the first tornado I was close to was the one in Billings a couple years ago.

Concise, quick to the point, great info, no ramblin.

Absolutely Montana has tornadoes. Microbursts are also seen in NE Montana and they can do as much damage as a tornado.
👍
Once again, a superb video!! I do have a dumb question: is Montana considered a part of Tornado Alley? Thanks for the upload!!
All 50 states get tornado's even MT is they want to fool people and call it a twisting wind so be it but its a F tornado .
This day was crazy, poor RAV ,Dan and freaked out stream audience :D
Awesome n epic video Daniel keep up the hard work :)
~ 03:13 was that ice rain ?
Almost, it was the metal hail shield on top breaking the hail into tiny ice flecks.
I see you still have that "You are Approaching a twisting storm" thing.
LOL yes Montana won't admit it gets Tornado's and that was just a twisting wind that tore up the Metro Plex in Billings Montana .
LOL
Thought this was in Australia for a second! What a relief it wasn't :) Terrifyingly powerful storms.
+freenewsau Damn, Daniel.I'm blazingly glad that that Tornado wasn't directly on the ground.
I lived in Sterling, CO for a couple years...had my share of tornado warnings, scared the hell out of me. LoL..

Same 'ol RAV.
Still good old RAV, she's doing fine.

Can I ask . . . are you, by any chance, Dutch or Afrikaner?
+Paws he's Australian.
That hail sounds like it would really hurt if it hit you on the head 😬😬😬
And then some!! You can do that here too..great fun if you find the right mountain and foothills too. 😃👍
I hear you. Lookin 👀
Oh my is it!!!
Not far from the Pawnee grasslands. Good place to shoot.
You can roll a dime for a mile there,
Tornado is 89 mph winds
your hood is beat up by hail.
It's the badge of a successful stormchaser.
I have a tornado watch I hear a hail it bounce
First El Reno, now this. You really have rotten luck with rain-wrapped tornadoes, don't you?
Anyone up for a round of Golf?
