Hi octopaul, i just found you in a squads game and we were on a team it was the game where we got volleyfall as a final and won like 3-0! and i messed up so bad in door dash and perfect match (im so sorry about that!), i was so shocked when i found you! Tbh i want new stuff but i don't want old stuff to be completely removed from the game so that's most of why people were mad about the update when it was released

i personally still prefer knockout over solos for a couple of reasons:
1. im kinda done with most of the drawn out old race maps in solos like doordash, gatecrash and tiptoe. i dont even enjoy things like slimesclimb that much anymore cuz its been in the game for so long.
2. i really love all the new creative race-maps. they all have nice speedruns and skips in it and the level design looks amazing on almost all of them (except maybe dual climb and rotation station as they have no background decoration)
3. i know im probably the only guy in the world who has this opinion but i absolutly looooove all the creative finals.
hex a spectre is ok but breaking blast ball is really unique, chaotic and fun.
and i aspecially love rollin ruins. i really hope they put more roll-maps in knockout soon they are so speedy and you really have to perfect your run. its so fun to master them.
but i think they need to update knockout soon and more often in general, so that the mode always remains fresh and fun to discover and to learn knew speedruns etc.
yeah Knockout felt refreshing for me, I never really played solos much this year

Parts of the Fall Guys community can be baffling at times.
If I was to go on Reddit/Twitter and say I currently have way more fun in finals with Breaking Blastball and Rollin' Ruins than I do with Jump Showdown and Roll-off, I can only imagine the sort of reaction I'd get.

i also love all the new creative race-rounds and aspecially the finals.
but whenever you go to social media and just mention that you like creative-rounds,
all the elderlies who still live in 2020 get a instant heartattack cuz how daaaare someone likeing creative rounds more than their precious old unity rounds... smh.
people are clining to nostalgia so much and can never let it go its crazy

I mean, it was an amazing time when Fall Guys first came out, and maps like Whirly Gig, Fruit Chute and and Door Dash felt fun to play as it was all new and everyone was talking about it.
But what's ironic, is that going back to May '23 when creative first came out, when lots of sceptics complained about the bare bones factor, the 1000 budget and that 80% of the maps were effectively the 'Turbulent Chickens' liminal space with 10 spinner tables followed by 10 door dashes followed by 10 see saws etc. Well many of those 'dodgy' maps, which they say was done by Timmy on his first day of creative, incredibly have more obstacle variety than Whirly Gig, Fruit Chute and Door Dash combined. Maybe they should let that sink in for a moment.
@@blackjetski555 yeah absolutly. creative is sooo good nowadays that you can almost recreate every unity round and even make it better with cool decorations and even better level design.
but still all the unity-round-fetishists will find ways to complain "but you cant make this and that in creative yet" smh.
creative is on the same level as unity rounds already,
and once we get like rising slime for survival maps,
and hunt-crounds as a mode in creative there will be no more denying that creative is in fact better than unity
@@FunclipMonkey Yes! I actually think hunt rounds will be creative's biggest jump over unity, because of the endless possibilities & obstacles that haven't been explored in hunt maps, like speed arches, rotating platforms etc.
And there are numerous types of hunt rounds they could add. I'm confident we'll get hoops, collectibles and pegwins. Not sure about leading lights and airtime zones, but it would be amazing if they did.
