This turned out lovely, but your video is very confusing. First of all your gloved hand is in the way of seeing most of what you are found. It would be great if you changed the angle of your camera. Secondly , it looks like you used UV Resin, so why did you wait 12 hours? Was it not UV? ❤️
I’m new to UV resin but it’s my understanding that alcohol ink doesn’t dry in UV resin. She waited to allow the ink to dry but as you see some ink is still at the bottom of the mold.
I'm a bit confused, how do you get the UV light to cure through the dark colours? Does the alcohol ink dry in the UV resin after 12 hours, even though it's encapsulated in the resin? Or does the ink float to the top of the resin? I've been trying to find a way to cure dark pigments in my UV resin. I'd appreciate your feedback. Thanks
Alcohol ink doesn’t work with UV resin. Notice when she pulled out the pendant the front was not cured. The back was not cured either so she added another coat of resin. Did the 12 hours curing she probably stuck it in the sunlight.
@@tinastabler8457 Yea I was just wondering if she used a different technique? Only the outside layers will cure. When using the dark colours, the inside layers won't cure at all, no matter how long the pendant is exposed to UV light. (I don't have patience to wait 12hrs for the normal resin to cure LOL)
@@mindymade6565 yes and I find that the uv light sometimes makes the resin bubble up and it doesn't cure properly. Did you cure the doming under uv light?
Ciao, non è possibile che tu abbia usato una resina uv. Perché i colori a base di alcool si possono usare soltanto con la resina epossidica. Con la resina UV non si asciugano, neanche sotto la lampada a Led.
Yes they do. I use alcohol ink all the time in my uv resin projects, you just have to make sure you use a clear mold. You also have to make positively sure that you have more resin then ink in your mixture then cure for about 5 minutes and cure the underside also. If it’s still a little sticky just put it in direct sunlight for about 15 minutes. But yes you can use alcohol ink in uv resin.
@@safrahanan1571 use UV resin, when you're ready to cure it turn your light on and put it underneath and cure all sides for 2mins minimum (check the UV resin you use, each brand is a bit different and may need longer) then take out out and turn the light off...that's it...
The result was beautiful but I gave it a thumbs down because it was missing some vital instruction, like when and how long you cured it with UV light and an explanation of why you waited 12 hours. Did you cure first then wait for the inks to dry or vice versa? Also, your hand often blocked the view so you might consider a different camera angle for the next one.

That is what I wanted to know. My previous comment is about my resin + ink + uv lamp and I get boiling mixture under the lamp

El resultado es hermoso , pero cubre con su mano gran parte del video.😯
Thank you for telling me that I needed to wait 12 hours for it to dry. I was so confused as to why it was still wet after curing it. Thank you!
uv resin doesnt take 12 hrs.. her video is confusing
@@rosedolch8637 for alcohol ink yeah it would.
Wow! A lot of critics here. This is beautiful. Keep creating!

The UV resin I bought said to not use alcohol inks!
Just beautiful
12 hours for uv resin? Is that whats necessary when it come to alcohol ink in uv resin? Im a bit confused here
How long did you cure it for
Beautiful
Thank you for the video and that pendant turned out so beautiful. I love the colors!
I am also using Piñata inks, UV resin and UV light. How come even if I only put a little, mine boils!?
Great video thanks for sharing 🎉
Isnt this UV resin? I'm confused as to why you waited 12 hours
To let the ink dry as otherwise it floats to the top of the next layer of resin and causes sticky uncured areas.

Thank your for this, I’m going to give it a try. ❤️
Do you spray the cavity with a nonstick mold release before you put in the UV resin
Did you put the resin under the UV light? And if so for how long
Beautiful
Why 12 hours? Under the lights that whole time or no?
It's pretty hard to see through your hand!

Si c'est de la resine il ne uv pourquoi attendre 12 heures
We can do without the music. The video is good on its own.
Ce n 'est pas de la résine UV Car pour de la Seine uv il ne faut pas 12h de séchage
the 12H is under uv lamp ??
Oh dear god no, that only a few minutes! The 12hrs was to let the ink dry

vous devriez filmer de l'autre côté, on voit plus votre main que la manière dont vous mettez les colorants
