A catch up at the beginning of May. The importance of not disturbing the ground too much for the benifit of the creatures and their homes. #bees #wildlifegarden #biodiversity #garden #spawn
That is very kind, thank you. It really does surprise me how many people enjoy seeing the garden. It's a little oasis really and I try my best to support the local wildlife visiting or living within it. Thank you again. 😊 💚
Haha its funny you should say that. I have a whistle that I've used for years to let the birds know I'm no threat. We had neighbours renting next door briefly and at Christmas they gave me a Christmas card with Snow White with birds feeding out her hand. Many years ago now. Thanks Diane 😊💚
Hello thank you for subscribing I've returned the favour and look forward to catching up on your garden it sounds lovely reading your bio. Pleased you like my garden 😊💚
Your garden is so characterful. In my cottage garden here in Wales some plants have flowered early but some are later than usual so it has been an odd season so far
Hello. Yes I agree, I think the dullness of this spring has delayed growth of some plants. Hope this warmth brings things on now. Food is needed for the invertebrates. 💚
I'm in the southern USA and it's the same way here. Our winter was long and then when it warmed up it was like summer overnight. And tonight it's storming. I used to live in Germany. Loved it. You have a beautiful country.
Yes winter has felt very long this year. We're having a week of warm settled weather this week then back to unsettled. I appreciate the rain but the bees get cold and wet, if it can stay warm that will help. We do have some incredible countryside here. Thank you for watching from southern USA. 💚
@@wildlifegardener-tracey6206 You are so welcome. I’m so glad that I have found your channel. I bet the bees 🐝 are ready for warmth. I love hearing them buzzing around 😌The storms here were bad last night. We have had bad tornado breakouts here in the U.S. with so much life and property loss. We need the rain too but the storms are so horrible. It’s cool today. I’ve yet to go outside to check everything. I bet it is beautiful countryside. I’d love to see it. I just ran out to check everything and my calla lilies are beat down. Maybe they will recover. If not they will return next year. The blackberries are so plentiful so I’m going out to pick some. Question about the bees, I know they can take care of themselves but do you create something for them to take haven in during storms? I’d like to make something for such occasions. I hope you have a lovely evening. I’ve enjoyed chatting with you. 💚🐝🪻
@@wildlifegardener-tracey6206 I'm doing good except that I suffered a completely severed ligament that still bothers me a bit but same, I definitely don't want to experience that pain again.
I love everything about your garden. Lots of fun plants and flowers as well as cute items tucked in amongst them. I have lots of “weeds” and love them. I started letting them just grow. Now I’ve got a lot of native plants and grasses. The flowers are so delicate and beautiful. Mines a bit messy as well. My wild blackberry patch is full of berries. Enjoyed your video.
@@wildlifegardener-tracey6206 it's a work in progress for sure. So much to do and I'm not able to do the big stuff anymore. I do what I can. My flowers are looking great though. My sweet peas that I grew from seed are already climbing so I'm excited about them. This is my first time having them in my garden as well as my snap dragons. I have a woodland area that I'm working on as well. I have a lot of debris from storms to clean up. I definitely enjoyed seeing everything in your garden. I'm sure I'll watch it again and again. It's storming here again... I'm hoping everything is going to be ok. Have a great weekend 😊💚🌱🪻🪺🪴🐦🐦⬛🐿️🦋🐝🐛
Hi Tracy, Thanks for the tour. My wild areas are not quite as wild as yours yet. I don`t think I have ever seen a hairy footed flower bee. They have a different buzz from other bees don`t they? I`ve never seen a black bee with hairy feet and a strange buzz! Hope you have a warm sunny week with lots of insects in your garden.
The bee in your latest video at the end is a Hairy-footed flower bee. The male has the hairy feet female must shave her legs 😂 You have a great week let the sun shine on our gardens. ☀ 💚
Hi I've just come across your you tube your garden is absolutely stunning truly is wildlife friendly look foreward to seeing more videos of around the garden love tge birds pop into help them self's. From kerry in east sussex ❤ x
Hi Kerry. Thank you so pleased you like the garden. It is wonderful that the Robins feel so confident around me it is a privilege. I thank you for subscribing. 💚😁🐝🐌🐸🐛
Well Tracey I must say it all looks amazing and so nice to see some sunshine and shadows. Cute to see robins we don’t have them here in SW Canada 🇨🇦. Have an amazing week, Ali 🌤️🇨🇦
Hi Ali. May and June are my favourite months the green is always so intense. Can't help but love a Robin they're so quick to learn. Loving the sun it's been a long time coming. Have good week too Ali. Your camping trip look great. 🐝 🦋 🐸 💚
Beautiful as always. So many birds is delightful. I haven't seen any of my frogs or toads, but did see a big black bee on the green alcanet last week x
I so happy you think so. Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment it's much appreciated. Sounds like you too have Hairy-footed flower bees 😊 🐝 🐸 🦋 💚
Hello there hope you're well. Glad you liked it thanks for watching. You we're quite the influence on me to record the garden. How are your tadpoles are doing? I've got seven in a tub for my granddaughter to watch developing your spawn was ahead of mine. Best wishes xx
Hello Miss..😅...i found you😊...i hope you recive the warm weather that you ask me...i hope you remenber .in the live the other day..stay well..now iam your subcriber too...
I do remember. Thank you for subscribing. As to rain we've had plenty this spring just warm sunshine would be lovely. Glad you like my garden. It is my paradise ☺ ☀
Love the tic tic tic of the robin.I have nests in the garden, my lovely wren blue tits and sparrows and black birds. The black birds eat the tadpoles and they go in the hedgehog house to eat the cat biscuits.xxxx🐝🐝🐝🐝
Your Garden very much reminds me of mine Joy. I've had birds eating tadpoles before but due to the amount of rain this spring the pond hasn't really been low enough. I hope we get more nests as the seasons go on. Take care. 🐝 🐸 🦋 💚
Love your channel and your garden. How do you promote your channel? I notice you have over 350 followers. My channel has been going for over a ear and I only have 17, my filming is amateurish I admit but I would like to get a few more followers lol xxx
Thank you glad you like the garden. I actually don't know how I've gained that many followers. I do know that a couple of new gardening UA-camrs I follow The Down to Earth Gardener and My Wild Welsh Garden have only started a short while ago and have 1000+ followers but they do produce two videos a week. I just don't have the time to be doing two or even one a week. So numbers have grown steadily over the three years I've been putting them up. Shorts I believe help too and catchy titles. Sorry I can't be of much help but if you take a look at the two gardeners I've mentioned their videos may give you some ideas. Best of luck. 😊💚
You have a beautiful garden Tracey and are so knowledgable where insects and wildflowers are concerned. Lovely tour thank you so much.

I love your garden, I could spend hours in it looking at all the interesting things.
Thank you. That is lovely to know. Yep the hours do disappear when I get in there. A breathing space from the insanity out there. 😊💚
Nice approach to wildlife gardening. Looks lovely and lots of interest
Thank you for watching and for appreciating what I'm trying to do for wildlife. 💚
What a gorgeous garden you have, i really enjoyed watching this thank you.
That's very kind thank you. 😊💚

Exactly, I so love it. It's so much easier and fun!

Your garden is beautiful and very interesting with wild life !
Thank you. So pleased you like it. Insects should always come first then the rest of the wildlife will follow. 😊 💚

Polylectic bees collect pollen from a diversity of plant families (generalists).
Thanks again bet I can't remember that next time 😂 xx
