    -It should be watery consistency
-Note down the allergies also make sure to give water after meal.
    ((Note
Expects advice that a child should be exclusively breastfed for the six months.
This is because all the nutrition your baby needs is present in the breast milk
So breastfeeding is one of the most effective ways to ensure child healthy & survival
-It is recommended for babies to start solid foods when they reach 6 months of age, new mama’s always get confused what to feed and how to start
    6 months what to feed?
    How to feed?
    -Grains:Rice, oats, Ragi
    -Fruits:Apple, Banana, Pear, Avocado
-Veggies :Sweet potato, potato, peas, green beans, beetroot, pumpkin, carrot
    Liquid:water, coconut water
-Introduce only one new food & two serving in a day, grains in the morning & Vegetables or fruits in the evening (start 1 tablespoons) continue for 4 days and note down the allergies.
Make sure porridge should be watery consistency start with 1 tablespoons & gradually increase the quality & consistency
-Also must give water after meals
    RICE
Rice a highly recommended first grain for babies since it is easy to digest, highly nutritious and non allergic & smooth texture easy to swallow
    RAGI PORRIDGE
Ragi Porridge also known as Ragi malt, Ragi kanji first solid food. It is packed with nutrients it has high amount of protein, calcium & minerals, good source of iron
I made fresh Ragi by soaking, added almond, raisins.
-ALMONDS :for babies are good for their brain development also know for their health benefits as they contain fibre, minerals and essential fatty acids.
RAISINS:Most doctors believe that baby food must include raisins for babies cause they are considered not only as safe but a healthy option as well, excellent remedy for treating constipation
    DATES
They are the best natural sweetener to be given to babies between 6-12 months old. Dates are a great source of nutrients and minerals for babies
    OATS PORRIDGE
Oats are a single grain food that are easy on your babies digestive system high in fiber, nutrients, iron, zinc
    VEGETABLE & FRUITS
Vegetables and fruits have vitamins, minerals and fibre, and add new tastes and textures for your baby.
🛑DO NOT ADD SALT & SUGAR
SALT:Once your baby begins eating solid food at six months, don't add any salt to home-cooked baby food or commercial baby food, even if you think it tastes bland . If you give your baby added salt their kidneys won't be able to cope.
SUGAR: experts advise no added sugar for infants and little to no added sugar for children 12 to 24 months old, can use natural sweetener like dates, raisins, figs.
HONEY: Do not give your child honey until they're over 1 year old
    -Always consult with your Paediatrician

I suggest not to spoon feed and purée everything, let her learn, let her feel the texture of the food and give everything solid instead of purée. That is what I do with my 7 month old boy, baby led weaning is the best way for babies to learn

@@jennysitlani right , unless baby has enough teeth development , we cant give solids or let them explore. Also , once they learn eating we need to be very careful as they can put into their mouth any object at home

Hi Jen, you don’t need to filter the steamed purées because you will be taking out the essential nutrients and fibre. Let baby consume the whole mashed purée. Wonderful content..keep going !!

Dates are a type of fruit that is high in sugar and provides many health benefits for babies. They are the best natural sweetener to be given to babies between 6-12 months old. Dates are a great source of nutrients and minerals for babies, (which have been soaked in water and de-seeded)
it’s okay when you mix with other ingredients like rice, veggies
Always follow the wait-for-three-days rule and check if the baby is comfortable with the food.

Another way to make rice water is by boiling the rice.
      How to prepare
Cover ½ cup of rice with double the water typically used for cooking. Cook the rice in boiling water and strain the rice water into a clean bowl before use.
