Try a candle lamp! They are amazing. They just melt the wax so the candle melts down evenly. I gave numerous for Christmas gifts this year!

Try this to get your candle to burn in the middle/ even it's not pretty but you take foil. You wrap it around the top portion of your candle and then fold it. Inward might be hard to describe but kind of like a round cone but keep it up. You know couple inches above the candle so obviously it doesn't burn . I guess you could describe it as a sleeve and then pull it out around the edges on the inside. I've done it and it helps a candle to burn evenly. Good luck everything you did in your house. It turned out beautifully! I have burned candles for around 40 years and I can get every last drop out of a candle. The instructions are usually on the bottom of the candle. Candles have a memory. The VERY FIRST time you burn a candle you have to let it burn until the whole top layer is melted. From side to side it has to be liquid. So do it when you are not going anywhere bc it takes 2 to 3 hrs. If you blow it out and you just have a little circle of melted wax in it, that's what it will remember the next time you light it and it will burn a small circle down through the middle of it. After the first time when you let the top layer melt, the next time and every time after that you can burn it however long you want to. I hope this helps.
I do this, also, with great success.

yes there are tutorials on youtube. Something about putting a dome of foil on top of the candle with a small hole at the top. I did it years ago after I bought one like that at GoodWill. It seemed to help a little.@@victoriaschout8471

This time of year is so refreshing in our homes. I love the minimalist look with lots of greenery, I’m hooked on live plants throughout my home this year. When I get a candle that appears to burn unevenly I use it under a pretty candle lamp instead. Scent lasts a long time plus you get a ambient glow from the lamp. Your home looks so warm and cozy, everything works so well together. ❤
Im so wanting to get a candle lamp. I wish they were battery operated, as I have to find an outlet that will work for a pretty candle lamp! They never put outlets in a convenient spot in houses. Why? And never enough!

I see a crater in the candle and there are several ways I've learned to correct a candle. For cratering: to fix this, cut a piece of aluminum foil wide enough to wrap around your candle and high enough to enclose in a dome shape over the candle. Lift the aluminum, Light the candle and let it re-melt. This creates a tent that melts the sides of the cratering to liquid which relevels itself. This may take up to an hour or more depending on the height of the wick. Check it every half hour. Another way is to put the jar in a pot with water level up to the level of the wax in the jar, turn on the stove on low and re-melt the candle. Then remove the candle from the pots using pot holder or gloves and set on a trivet to cool. If the wick is off center you can reposition it with a popsicle stick it while the wax is completely melted. Viola!..repaired candle. Thank you for sharing your lovely home.

Thank you for bringing up the elephant on UA-cam! So many influencers have like complete Target ad living rooms, or kitchens, or bedrooms or homes! Same items over and over and over. Gets really dull and boring. No creativity at all. I appreciate those of you that share some additional items sourced from interesting places.

To fix your candle, the next time you burn your candle wrap a piece of aluminum foil around the container and your candle will heat up all the way through and reset itself it’ll go all the way to the edge and then whenever you light it it will melt evenly. 😃🥳
When candles don’t burn evenly, it usually means the wick isn’t in the middle. Before I buy candles, I always make sure of that. Also, once you start to burn a candle, you have to burn it as many hours as the circumfrance of the candle. In other words, if a candle is 3” round, then burn it for about 3 hours, or until it is solid liquid. Hope these suggestions help. Also, it’s important to trim the wicks after burning them, but not too short. I love Bath and Body Works candles. They always burn evenly. Their 3 wicks are awesome, and they have so many great fragrances.

For the new potted tree... I would have just put it on the ledge behind it , for the height you were looking for, rather than buying a new one. I do like the pattern and subtle color of the block print pillow on the side chair. ANd the sweet wood bench for the bathroom stacked towels! BTW... do you have a link for the large wall basket behind the living room chair?

Put tin foil around candle it retains the heat and the wax will level out then remove foil x
