We see an out-of-the-way Bar worth a look at. Then head over to Crazy Horse Memorial for a quick tour. When the end of the day takes you to the end of the construction on Hwy 385. We let you know where the road is out.

We moved out here from Fl 6 years ago and we really enjoy the park. In case you didn't know the old visitor center is a kids education center now. The catfish is really good at the Hitchrail.

Trying to keep all informed
Great video. It's been about 15 years since we were their last time. We stayed at Custer St Park. I think they have done some improvements since then. I think the government tried to offer the family of Crazy Horse to come in and finish the Memorial, but they turned it down. I think they are fine just giving some of their family something to do for the next 100 years like you said. I would have liked to see it finished in my lifetime but at 69 years old I don't think that's going to happen.

I looked for you and now I find you as it's all over! Last year as we took Steve's truck because of the down pouring rain, we saw the new building but everything was closed on Monday. We did get to see some bison way off tge road but did see tons of deer. Nice looking little bat in Pringle!

FYI according to South Dakota 511, 385 will be opened July 12th... still pilot cars and probably gravel until December 4th
