Great and informative demonstration! Can you tell me why I would buy the GT2 Tomahawk instead of the GKJr. Katana Pro Gimbal Tripod Head? My husband does rocket launch photography and needs to be able to shoot from straight ahead to straight up. Thanks!
While I really wanted this to work, it does not fit a Z9 with Z100-400. The battery grip won't allow the camera to tilt up. It hits the square bracket. This might be the case with most battery gripped cameras.
Hi, Thank you for your interest in our product! The cost of the exact setup you see here can vary depending on which ball head and plates you will use. Hi Kenneth, I would say that the GT2 is the smaller version of the GT1. At .95lbs, it's light and small enough to be easily carried. The new GT2 works with any monopod or tripod head that features ⅜”-16 and ¼”-20 threads, it also features two screw slots and it's arca-compatible.
Undoubtedly the highest quality, best designed equipment - thanks Tom and ProMedia Gear! We love our Boomerang brackets!
Tom and the guys at PMG make the highest quality gear in the industry.
Wow, thank you Chris! 🙂
I own several of your products, including the TR424. Some of the finest engineering and attention to detail I have ever seen.
Wow, thank you very much. 😀
They are so good right! I have the same tripod but with the longer legs and some other gear as well.
What a great product and pairing with the ballhead. Awesome that you can center the rig over the tripod axis.
Glad you like it!
Looks great! I'm considering buying the gimbal.... Thank you for sharing!
Thank you, let us know if you have any questions! 😉
Got one on the way. Thanks. Well made equipment. 🇨🇦. Thanks Tom.

Nice new product and video! Enjoy your adventures in Poland Tom
Thanks! Will do!👌🙂

What are the differences between the GT1 Tomahawk and the GT2 Tomahawk? When will the GT2 be available?

How much is that? 🧐
Hi Victor, the Gimbal costs $399.95.
