    Though I don’t “know him”
Charles is one of my favorite human beings...what he says resonates deeply with what I have discover in my own humanity.
This might be the best talk he’s done yet actually...hinting at previous work and continuing to challenge the listener.

Same here 💜 I try to introduce his words to others, he should be more widely heard. 😊

“ Out beyond ideas of right doing and wrong doing there is a field, I’ll meet you there. When the soul lies down in that grass, the world is too full to talk about, ideas, language, even the phrase each other doesn’t make any sense. “ -Rumi

Amazing how the shaman found out and sensed that in any place where an intense trauma happened creates a disruption that leads to disasters...
And this entire talk is mindblowing. Thank you for uploading this

11:55 "We are coming to a time right now where the excluded ones are coming back to haunt us. We are haunted by them... Not only our maps, but our whole technique of mapmaking is just getting us more and more lost."
Hence the need for holistic, compassionate approaches. Thank you Charles for shining light on this.

Being on the similar quests in the un-knowing listening to each other as we pick up and look through the various lenses with unconditional acceptance weather we are right or not however that is proven, generates such kind heartedness in me. Maybe it is a space where our mind/brains hop synapses outside our skulls and connect but whatever it is, I think it is healing. Powerful medicine. Thanks again for inviting us on such a wonderful journey into examining a kind of compassionate epistemology.

RELIEF from the PRESSURE of the QUESTION -- such a fascinating perspective on why we're obsessed with answers. Love you Charles, Zaya, Maurizio

Wilfred Bion, a great psychoanalyst, said that the answer was the death of the question. A great talk on this theme.

Yes and...that question was only one step upon the quest. That question's answer provided a perspective, or lens, through which new questions appear.

5:58 reminds me of the story of Tvasta, as the meta-creation and the base of creativity; ever looking into and outo itself. He is the nakshatra lord for Svati (Libra-ish), symbolized by a diamond, multifaceted beauty, poised in balance.
I feel we’re here to for the time being, to view this world through a diamond lens, a broken sort of beauty; hopeful and poignant all at once.
May we return to Eden? That’s not the question that needs answering. But like Charles motioned, is that we are here to understand why we all wanted to make this very journey...

They say you cannot do what you've always done and expect a different result. So to with exploration. The word itself speaks exactly to that point. You cannot find something new in an old thought or in old information, unless you alter or add to it. No matter how you look at it you have to go somewhere new to find something new. When it comes to tangible things like finding a new place, there is nothing to wonder about, the place exists you just have to get there. When it comes to new ways of thinking it's not the same, again the statement speaks to the fact that no one has thought like that yet. You have to create the new thoughts, like the pioneers who found the new places for the first time. They didn't know where they were going. They couldn't even get lost coz they were charting the territory. So to with new ways of thinking, if you are not comfortable with being wrong or looking ridiculous, you have no business in the world of new ideas, most things before they become commonly accepted are considered ludicrous along with the people stating the new idea or whatever it might be. But in the end ,often long after that person/people have left the world the world discovers they were right and comfortably accepts what they previously discredited with vile disdain. This is the way of things. It will probably and very unfortunately never change, because there are those as you say who love boxes and anything that doesn't fit in one will always be violently disregarded . What they don't know is that all the best things in the universe sit everywhere but in those boxes. I feel very sad for those kinds of people.

Fine post my friend.....ya know I was thinking about
Michael Cremo...archaeologist...main stream archaeologists discredit his work and scream darwinism rules....but Cremo is right and his discoveries are mind blowing history that must be recognized! The magicians and mystery schools and secret societies have continued to control stuff like that.....most people are so unaware.......
      ; ) .......

I love his humility and his willingness, nay desire, to question, question, question. And to do so in such a thoughtful, intelligent way. If only we could get others ... ah, forget it as Charles is right, Steven Pinker and so many others are wrong (delusional) and humanity is heading into the abyss.

What is the name he is referencing when he says “(name) speaks about”? It sounds like Bios or Vios. I’m curious who is the author he is referring to.

It is all so interesting, and from my point of view, contraversial and over stated. I find that there are more answers than questions just by being observant, and those few questions that might be roaming arround are not transcendental, they are sort of irrelevant and hanging out on the edge of reality. And by the way, reality is just what it is, no questions there either... I see that there is an intellectual tendency to 'curl de curl' that just keeps some of that intelligence going arround amongst analitical, sophisticated thinkers; sort off some kind of entertainment or mental sport. There is a long perpetuated story here, that i don't care to get into right now, one of those stories worthy of a symposium around the chimney, and of course, with the its corresponding bottle of wine... Very fractal, by the way...

Selfless Will that's the politically correct spiritual reply .. there are also things called discernment, frequency resonance, inner guidance mechanisms, and if you have seen a hundred or a thousand spiritual teachers they aren't all the same .. some, book knowledge, some, lived reality, some when the going gets tough, they become teachers .. it is extra tough when they are trying to make their living at it, or being spiritual is part of their professional reputation and gets them speaking gigs or tenure.. that said, traditional understanding says a good student can learn from a bad teacher.. and our higher self seems to park us in the place we need to be ..

How "young" is the public on average? We need people of all ages to care, and no it is not lost on me than most have to get on the hamster wheel before they can consider anything else in their so-called spare time... Self-nurturing beast, will it really eat itself to death?
