I had to download, uninstall, re-install, uninstall again, then re-install for the game to work again. How fun
I'd prefer 1 new map over 7 new escalations on remixed maps
But I havent played 7 deadly sins so I wont complain yet
The NY bank map is a great example of a new DLC map!

@@ohyeah2066 you don’t need to be this aggressive about it. The escalations are only slightly different compared to the actual map. It is not like hitman 1 when they at least remodeled the maps. In my eyes this is just for cosmetics so it is kind of ridiculous that it costs the same as the dlc in hitman 2 (that had a lot of new content). So as hitman fans we want to see more (it can be a redesign of old maps). We know that they said no more new maps, but we can still make comparisons of the 3 dlc, since this one seems like a ripoff.
This looks to be a better improvement over the "Greed" escalation DLC.

@@R08D_ in the live stream they said they heard player feedback and that they will improve from here on forth with the next 5 sin packs but dont get ur hopes up they promised us et changes but in the stream they said the MAY change the ets

It's funny that they create two new items, the Sniper Rifle and the sword, for the Escalation but during the actual Escalation you're highly discouraged from using them.
Yeah that super shiny new Sniper rifle? That's the "easy" way out and we'll berate you for using it.

You won't fail the mission if you get spotted on level 3 and you don't need to hide the bodies.

Tbh I loved this escalation it was 100% better than the last one I like that u get moaned at for choosing the easy one
I don’t see much sport in this, do you?
It helped that the rewards were at least better (with the exception of the suit, I think it looks much worse than the last suit).
8:46 "cause we've completed all the objectives now and it would suck if we had to restart" - no 1 reason why I don't like escalations, especially when paired with instant fail conditions like the seemingly ever-present "do not get spotted" -.-
This one tricked me at first. When I got to the first peacock and it told me not to take the obvious one, I chose the explosive. Because I'm supposed to be a silent assassin right? So to me the tanto was the obvious choice whereas the explosive was loud and obvious and not very assassination like. Plus, explosions draw attention so you'd have to be pretty cocky and prideful to blow up two people in the middle of a city and then just walk away

On level 1 you can turn the radio on when you come down the stairs to the second target and for me at least it was the target that stood up to come and turn it off, threw the tanto at him once he had turned it off and hid his body in the locker, went back up the stairs to the exit.

I actually caved in and bought this for £4. Honestly wasn’t too bad but definitely should’ve been in the deluxe pack. 6 escalations and some soundtracks just isn’t enough when compared to Hitman 2’s Gold Edition

the explosive level 1, I planted the explosive 1 step behind them and boom, they were thrown over the railing. easy SA.

I just wish the other challenges associated with the escalations rewarded something. For greed it would have been so easy, they could have just added the burial dagger, the gold shashiska, the golden sawed off from the bank mission, and one or two other minor things...
I’d like an escalation with revamped enemy placements and item placements. With maybe some of the environmental objects moved around.
But this? They might as well have just made the escalation 6 levels. Making the item choice only out of 2 is kinda lame. I would’ve liked more options on how to assassinate the targets. Here’s hoping the future escalations are more unique...
I know I'm in the minority but I love the escalations and rewards you getvi just wish it kept going past 3 like how far can you take things till you die really test your skills as an assassin and really escalate the situation
Its still good, but not worth 30 bucks for the whole set. Also people hate this dlc because they expected new missions and they expected deluxe owners to get it for free.
It is just hard to like escalations since a lot of the time they can be recreated through contracts, so it feels like a ripoff personally, especially when looking at the past dlc. Like this one only seems slightly different to the actual map.
@@tunatuna4710 I mean when you do the math it's 5$ each and for 5$ you get the escalation itself a suit a melee, Item, & weapon for 1.25$ each ... not bad tbh
@@mandybennett22 I mean yeah true these could be created through contracts but as someone who came into the rebooted hitman late and bought the entire "world of assination" back in January I have so much stuff to do still I've only completed one game and still have most of the base game escalations to do not to mention the 2nd and 3rd full game to complete theres already alot on my plate and as a new player something small and fun like this is perfect for me

On level two I got all the way to the ladder at the end didn’t have it unlocked so I had to back step all the way back to the peacock exit 🤥

In level 2, in order to go down the escape ladder I need to break the lock with a crowbar. Where do I find the crowbar?
when you are stuck in the frozen ice, look for MrFreeze
The third guard, at the desk, I turned on the copier and threw the saber into the wall next to the door. As soon as he came a little towards the room, the copier distraction got him.
I also chucked the guards’ bodies down the elevator shaft on the wall opposite that closet.
Hi Freeze. Love your work. I just completed the Ambivalence challenge, but when I try 2 restart and do the Humility challenge, it keeps starting at level 3 on the Pride Profusion. What am I doing wrong? Thanx.

After finishing level 3 it'll show you on the objectives screen, bottom left "reset escalation"
I like the sniper but I won’t ever use it unless it is a challenge with a sniper rifle. I don’t use them for fun since I don’t have the patience to wait for a target to walk into my sight.

The game isn’t “about” silent assassin, especially considering silent assassin forces you to ignore the entire disguise aspect of the game. I’m not surprised you think this though, the current dev team seems to agree. These DLCs have been horrible because they force you to play a specific way, completely taking away any sandbox experience from these games. Even this DLC mocks you and ironically calls you out for lacking creativity, which is the essence of Silent Assassin in the first place.
I agree with you. Poor wording of choice for me. I mean Silent Assassin is the ultimate achievement in the game, not what it's about. I can't help but always try to achieve silent assassin as that's always been the goal to me

To get "Ambivalence" you need to mix it up, not all the Easy or all Harder weapons. It wasnt that clear in the video, I thought it was specifically using the Sword in level 3. And hiding bodies doesnt matter in any of the 3 Redacted where one is All Easy, the other is All Hard, and Ambivalence is just mix it up
A bit buggy I've found in some spots. but a very fun. Took the harder choice of all three escalations. Pretty challenging!

Took me many goes but I finally did the difficult run-through correctly and then it didn't give me the Hubris achievement :(

I got the Sniper, but I don’t see it as a reward for any of the challenges? I’m on PS4 Pro. Something on my end or anyone else also unlock after first level but didn’t see it in the challenges as a reward?
Next season Will be the Season of Sloth... I'm trying to immagine what kinda escalation Will be there.
Very likely to be on Dartmoor, and concern 47’s inability to save Lucas Gray (Agent 6) from death. Each level will likely have a countdown timer after 47 interacts with whatever symbolic animal, after which the player has the option to either complete the mission in a hurry or just let time run out. When it comes for rewards, I have absolutely zero clue on what the suit will look like (perhaps something mummy like or with hourglasses on it?), I just hope it doesn’t look the same as the past two suits. When it comes to the two other rewards, one of them will be related to or feature the design of the symbolic animal, while the other could be absolutely anything.
This is just all my assumption though, it could just be another vague escalation with no real ties to 47’s past

Did this contract and then decided to test the sniper rifle in Sapienza wine I hadn't completed Sniper Assassin there. The I noticed that the last classics challenge I had to do, Sniper Assassin x17, has been reset and I can't complete it. Any ideas?

I actually really like these Sins escalations and rewards so far, both Greed and Pride. I just don't think they're worth €5 each. Maybe €2.50 or €3 each would be more reasonable.
i tried to complete it all without any video help and lets just say the 3/3 i have to go loud but i cant kill any guard so i just shoot their knee cap

I actually had fun in this Escalation. Especially pissing off the guy who's narrating. Probably a step up in improvement after Greed
Way better than I thought it would be, especially after the greed one which was mediocre.

How can you „restart“ the entire escalation?

it should have been ported when you ported everything over on first installation of the game

Yes. There is a reset function.
How do you reset them?
@@dansimmons8107 When you select the escalation and you're on the briefing screen, press Y (on xbox) to reset the escalation. You'll see the key/button prompt at the bottom of the screen for your platform.

How!? When i try to play this escalation it says error. Im on Xbox. On the server page it says that its online when its not. I even restarted and nothing.

This also looks like I spent money for a couple of cash grab elusive targets who give me nothing but suits and a couple of reskin weapons why I even bother oh and the challenges why bother after mastery level 20?
Why did I have to spend 25 quid on this dlc fun challenge but unless I'm going postal this game holds nothing for me

Same with me. Played thru just trying to figure it out on my own first and got Ambivalence (which is simply mixing both methods (I did tanto, sniper, fiberwire). But then when completing my Hubris attempt, it didn't unlock (and the dialog was as if I had disappointed him).
EDIT: And replaying it again, it unlocked. So if the dialog given hints at having strayed from the prideful path, just restart.
