I legit think the Live-Action one is good for those who didn't watch show OR watched it slighly, not deepin' in the connections, the deep thoughts of each episode and etc. Avatar is not about seriousness or crying, it is about accepting, about living through-. The first book is either "Accepting" or "Childhood", whether you like one version or another. It is about Aang not accepting he has to fight the whole nation and lead (or he had to until he got frozen) the Airbenders bcoz he is Avatar. There are lots of complains that it is not that Avatar that the original Creator wanted to show us - with each episode. There are literally no fillers in Avatar: Aang, every episode matters.
