I'm so bad, found the first wall ride and upper shortcut accidently on my first lap. Was fun trying to string all the shortcuts together to get a good time, but like I said, I'm bad and couldn't.
I love the real shortcuts (not cheeses) so much! Also I appreciate the aesthetic details of all your maps

Try it again and make it even more hidden.. dont forget to disable photomode haha
there should be a checkbox in the track builder to deactivate Photomode right out of the box, so you would have to activate on the track if want to have it.
But the best shortcuts are the ones where people can't see it even when photomode is on.

really would love to see you do a cheese track but block off all the cheeses with an invisible wall. so there "are" shortcuts but they dont actually work. the only way to finish would be to do it legit
Even better: a track where all the cheeses are obvious but take longer than a legit run.

a long track with a ton of cheeses, all designed to miss one checkpoint each
so basically making sure the checkpoints really are cheese protection

I was right with you on that one. I think you can jump even further right on the grass to cut out the next turn as well, couldn't get it in the lobby though.
That was such a sneaky cheese! Combine a skilled cheeses with it and you have a lobby that doesn't look any further because they're trying so hard. Well done my dude 😉

With a shortcut like that, it’s surprising that it only saves 2-3 seconds

dapper, i love your tracks. and it is disappointing when they find your short cuts too early. the eight minutes was perfect. sorry if input is unwelcome, if so stop reading now. maybe make your race times have less time to increase the value of finding the shortcut? but then they have less time to look for cheese and participants are forced to choose between finding the cheese and optimizing what they have.
I got my 35 from jumping right after the first checkpoint
If you really want to hide a shortcut, make it so it's in an area that the obvious shortcut avoids.

these cheeses, next thing you know you'll have to have played a different map to know the cheese to the next map x)
For april fools, Yannic (Yannik?) should flip the track name and author name stuff.
Dapper, you should learn how to type at least 50 wpm so that you won't have any issues fixing late photomodes and time resets.
Also, tell yannic to add a no brake block, no steering block, and no fragile block. I'd love to see these implemented!

Dap my guy you should just make the curved walls invisible and so a track that literally doesn't have a cheese.... Unless you go like completely against everything everyone knows about dapper cheese tracks. Like make an invisible spiral that takes you to an upside down mirrored version of the track with boosters at like 200/10 but leave the boosters on the visible track at like 180 making the invisible track intrinsically faster... Iiiif you manage to memorize the track before trying it.
I've been watching these videos for weeks now and I just wish the game was on playstation.

One of these days, dapper will make a hidden track. Onty the hidden track will be longer. And then there will be the twist...ON that hidden track will be a hidden shortcut that will be the quickest way to finish.
Ok, hear me out. An acme track. Where it's literally all cheeses. The real path is legitimately just totally cheeses. So many cheeses people can't figure out which cheese is the right one.
