They should totally do that. They had a Sidemen in Spanish channel that didn’t do that well so maybe that’s why they are hesitant, but now that you can just dub the videos it would do much better because those already have millions of views and people are much more likely to click on a video that already has a ton of views.

I think you guys need to do more videos in the USA. There’s a UA-cam/Instagram/tiktok channel that’s this British guy just going around the USA and being shocked by everything and he’s got millions overnight and he barely does content it’s just him being like holy shit guys look how cool this is! And there’s millions of Americans just like dude you didn’t know? Doing more content in the USA opens you up to a new audience and the tastes of America and the UK are similar enough that it would translate. And don’t just do like Hollywood and vegas, go all over the country for challenges. Do a few Texas based videos, New York, Boston, Chicago, Miami, DC, Atlanta, Denver. Phoenix, Philly, Seattle, so many places. You’ve done challenges all over Europe, from Spain to Germany to France to Italy to Poland.
SUBTITLES PLEEEEEEEASE, spanish is my first language (I'm chilean) and you don't know how frustrating can be that I can't share your videos with friends and family that I know will love your content, because they don't speak english. Or at the very least caption them, I know that for you it means a little more work, but it would make so much of a difference for people that either don't speak the language or have hearing problems. Also your style of humor would land so well in America latina, I even dare to say that some times even better than in the US.
As native English speaker, we consider US humour to be very bland. It’s the McDonald’s of humour. I know in South America the US is praised as being the best in the world at everything, but in the western world, we consider the US to be a bumbling fool. I’ve never met a European, Canadian or aussie who would respect an american product over something else. Even in the US they only buy our stuff (from Europe), Lamborghini, Audi, balenciaga, Louis Vuitton, Gucci etc etc We look at the US as mass production, we look at European as quality production. As a non-british ppl who watch your videos I end up missing half of the convos you guys have in sidemen Sundays cause I just can't understand your guys's accent so adding subtitles will 1000% help improve your ratings
Honestly I get what your saying here. I feel like there audience is very UK based. There are 89 mil people in the UK and a solid 15 mil of their 19 mil subs are British. I think that's about all the audience they can get in the UK. They could try expanding to other countries, but subtitles would just be a pain. They could possibly still grow in US and Australia tho (they have Australian friends like Lachlan, Lazar, etc and US ones like Logan Paul, Jidion)
Guys, guys… stop with the comments about the old content was better. They have peaked in viewership for UK audience size. The reality is that they keep on saying they prefer to collab with their friends in videos which is understandable but they don’t really grow much by collabing with them. They need to collab with their US Content Creators in the US. Expand. However it seems they were or are content with growing at that rate because they don’t try to get out of the uk market and into other venues soo which one is it?
It has nothing to do with nationality, speed only became famous because he went to UK, it's about being relatable to young people, sidemen are old they are relatable to guys that are in their 20 now and don't watch UA-cam as much as an average 15 years old Speed fan
Another thing is the targeted audience I'd say sidemen is targeted to 16+ but speeds viewers are probably much younger although speeds intentions probably arent to attract a younger audience his crazy reactions are what attracted the younger audience and another thing is the sidemen have been doing their thing for over a decade and tbh I don't think speed will still be as relevant as he is now in 10 years
I Think that, if the Sidemen made videos where it feels more personal and there would be twists and suprises it would bang a bit more, or if they decided to be a little more edgy. I love the hour long videos and when they make it feel personal and they are happy but then they find out that there is a twist or that a suprise like the troops apear later in the video. I only think the video is missing personality, or that the Sidemen don’t make it feel personal to us. (I love the Sidemen, and the videos they make, but some of the recent ones have felt a bit dull? Or less personal to us, lifeless? But i think the Sidemen will pull it off in the end)
American here, I love you guys and i know many other people here who do, unfortunately many Americans don’t understand banter as well as others. I can’t honestly say watching you guys has made me perfectly understand english humor and i actually prefer it to american humor lol.
I'd say it's more that the content is drying up rather than you've reached peak UK audience. Todays 20 vs 1 with Tana was the easiest 'I'm not going to bother with this' I've ever had.
The biggest problem is with sidemen that they don't do like too much content that like Indians like now Indians because India is the country with most yt users and they should focus on growing some content around it like not on main chanell but in reacts or more sidemen
some of my friends watch the sidemen, they watch you guys on certain events ex: sidemen charity match or ksi fighting someone. they dont watch sidemen on a regular basis they just think english british its too complicated or confusing and you guys likes to use uk slangs its hard to understand (for me i understand what u guys saying) + i live somewhere in asia where my country its not based on english and not many people understand or speak english well enough, so you gotta translate or just make big events like charity match often so they know you guys more and hopefully increase ur subscribers
If they want to grow realistically, they can only do so by making subbed or dubbed videos. -I’m pretty sure at this point if you’re outside of the UK, you’ve probably heard of the sidemen, and if you have you’ve either decided to watch them, or not.
I part of the audience where I watched these guys in my teens but now I’m 25, I just don’t think their content funny or related to me in anyway. Still wish them all the best and think they’re great guys who deserve all their success 😊
They gotta collab with Americans in America for an increase in sub count. Hold subathons on YT..Maybe use Vik’s influence to grow more in India. But they themselves don’t really wanna go out of their way to do something diff at their age. They’ve grown from those initial days now. It’s more about being consistent with their already built fanbase for now. 1-2 individuals may feel the need to branch out more in terms of content but people like Harry, Ethan, Vik don’t seem keen for change. If everyone isn’t aligned for change it’s not gonna happen.
You are just not trying different things in variety to attract new and diverse viewers, rather you are just focused to deliver every week to your existing audience in formats they are used to, Sidemen should become an attraction not a service, then only you guys could prosper
We have to also remember that most of the newer UA-cam audience is kids every year and kids don't exactly relate to 30 year olds, no offense. I'm not exactly a kid myself, but I reckon the sidemen fans now are a different demographic compared to speed fans
As someone probably a similar age to your dad, I do watch a lot of UA-cam, yes a lot of fishing videos (Fish with Carl etc) and have a couple of crap channels of my own. But I do also watch the odd Sidemen/ChrisMD videos, but usually only football or Among Us (and a few other video games). I think the footie ones are nostalgic for when me and my friends used to do football challenges and generally muck about. I watch very few of the Sidemen Sunday vids, holidays etc, and that's probably something that is more popular with younger people
Dutch person here 🙋🏼♀️. Fully agreeing on the subtitle part but also wouldn’t it be great if you collaborated with well known European UA-cam personalities from European countries. That would be crossovers that would give you more exposure in other European countries. There are a bunch of big Dutch UA-camrs who speak fluently English and have millions of views and subscribers and would probably live to work with you guys. Just spitballing but maybe something like a crazy weekend in Amsterdam.
the thing is they are so painfully british that it is not going to resonate well with most americans, but those who grew up with them will still watch and promote them to others
@erosion271 dude, mrbeastification is affecting not only the american side of youtube but everyone. Many UK youtubers, european youtubers, latin youtubers do the same shit. I mean I would do the same shit lmao, trying to follow what the number one youtuber does
Sounds to me that the Sidemen just need to collab more with non uk based youtubers, i mean Randy, JME, Calfreezy, etc are fine but they will never pull in new subs, maybe go to Australia and have Lachlan and Lazarbeam bring in a load of big Aussie youtubers to do some collabs, then join up with big ones in US and Canada
Need more collabs and outside UK videos ...this guys just sit around a set and try to make videos and most of them are just repeat contents with different persons... This not a peak in anyones UA-cam career...you have to look at MrBeast .. he doesn't upload any repetitive contents... Sidemen have to figure it out.. I enjoy most of their content....❤
Sidemen are one of the few channels that started catering more towards kids the older they got instead of growing with their subs. It's the reason for their success
I love simon. I love most of the sidemen. I mainly watch simon. I started way back when, josh & simons shellshock, uno, golf, gta etc and ive always loved josh & simon. Love tobi too. My issue with sidemen is, half the people dont seem like they wanna be there. Some of the people have big attitudes, complain and the fame got to their heads. Sometimes it comes off like “were huge and we know we dont need to bother” I also think a huge hit was when ksi was racist. I genuinely think that put alot of people off. I noticed the views dipped alot since then. I personally prefer when ksi isnt in the videos which i know is the opposite to alot of people.
The sidemen have become pretty boring, they always stop themselves from doing/saying something because they think they’ll get canceled (wouldn’t happen unless they do something criminal). Harry carries the sidemen. They also changed their content like that reality show that nobody asked for.
Think the best team is Ramsdale, Zinchenko, Gabriel, Saliba, White, Rice, Odegaard, Maddison, Martinelli, Jesus, Saka. Could easily argue Son over Jesus for his finishing but I just love watching the latter. Absolute baller
I think the sidemen should at least bring back the close captions, because there are people from another part of the world that can only understand english through words, sometimes your british accent confuse a non english speakers and it makes the videos harder to understand for a non english speakers, and close captions can help deaf people to enjoy your videos too. That's just my opinion as a sidemen subscriber from indonesia, maybe you all can consider to bringing it back because your close captioned videos has helped me better my english and now i can enjoy your videos without reading close captions.
Imagine having the pain of torsion and then going to the hospital and they say nothing is wrong… but I’ve felt the pain for over a year now… that’s worse

nothing to do with being "english based", it's that sidemen content is stale and boring. Zero energy, zero chemistry, every episode is like watching the inbetweeners turn up for community service minus the humour.
I have been thinking about this for sometime actually and wonder if the sidemen and fans would like to see more old school top gear style content instead with challenges etc. ofc not focusing around cars but a huge factor.

I'd say it's more that the content is drying up rather than you've reached peak UK audience. Todays 20 vs 1 with Tana was the easiest 'I'm not going to bother with this' I've ever had.
The real truth is you guys are so rich you lost your hunger. It's cool, Speed is just everywhere, every region of the world
The biggest problem is with sidemen that they don't do like too much content that like Indians like now Indians because India is the country with most yt users and they should focus on growing some content around it like not on main chanell but in reacts or more sidemen
some of my friends watch the sidemen, they watch you guys on certain events ex: sidemen charity match or ksi fighting someone. they dont watch sidemen on a regular basis they just think english british its too complicated or confusing and you guys likes to use uk slangs its hard to understand (for me i understand what u guys saying) + i live somewhere in asia where my country its not based on english and not many people understand or speak english well enough, so you gotta translate or just make big events like charity match often so they know you guys more and hopefully increase ur subscribers
sidemen are starting to fall off but can save themselves.
Kids that r growing up are going to get introduced so u will never run out of potential users
I’m a big sidemen fan since early and I’m from the US and I will say there is not a big population of sidemen fans near me 😂
If they want to grow realistically, they can only do so by making subbed or dubbed videos.
I remember watching every video the sidemen uploaded now i probably watch every 10 one
Randolf really offers little information or insight in these clips
No he’s so right. My dad’s UA-cam recommended is like 99% sports 😂
Sidemen would pop off in other nations as much as England the humour is different.
still have a huuuuge untapped fanbase in the US , imo .
the thing is they are so painfully british that it is not going to resonate well with most americans, but those who grew up with them will still watch and promote them to others
They could easily conquer India, and I mean easily
@@makwielino way they can, indians don't really watch hour videos
@erosion271 That's ironic considering that Sidemen have been trying to mimic mr beast over the last 2 years, through the editing, thumbnails, etc
@erosion271 dude, mrbeastification is affecting not only the american side of youtube but everyone. Many UK youtubers, european youtubers, latin youtubers do the same shit. I mean I would do the same shit lmao, trying to follow what the number one youtuber does
If your content is great then everyone will watch it. Great content cannot be denied.
Watch like 2 vids, enough for me forever. Not bad just not my thing . Good luck out there 😂😂
Sounds to me that the Sidemen just need to collab more with non uk based youtubers, i mean Randy, JME, Calfreezy, etc are fine but they will never pull in new subs, maybe go to Australia and have Lachlan and Lazarbeam bring in a load of big Aussie youtubers to do some collabs, then join up with big ones in US and Canada
That's true the plateau is there. But a commited fanbase is equally important and in that regard, I'd say the sidemen are smashing it.
Simon is also the first one in videos to cheat and complain in videos. Sometimes they just half ass content
Sometimes it comes off like “were huge and we know we dont need to bother”
I also think a huge hit was when ksi was racist. I genuinely think that put alot of people off.
I noticed the views dipped alot since then.
I personally prefer when ksi isnt in the videos which i know is the opposite to alot of people.
Sidemen definitely peaked 😂
The sidemen have become pretty boring, they always stop themselves from doing/saying something because they think they’ll get canceled (wouldn’t happen unless they do something criminal). Harry carries the sidemen. They also changed their content like that reality show that nobody asked for.
its cos everyone in the UK consumes US media but not everyone in the US will do the same for the UK
100k is generous lol. Miniminter has been stuck on 10M subs for 3 years
He was talking about Sidemen channel
Sidemen were at peak a few weeks before sideplus was announced, since then it hasn’t felt the same.
Big fan from Thailand🇹🇭
I think you still have potential to grow in Europe, a lot of people here understand UK culture even if they arent from there
With the contents they put out ofc it will slow down
Sidemen peak was 2013-2017
Maybe because Hide and Seek is every 3rd or 4th Sidemen Sunday video 😂. Could ho retro and go back to Sidemen vs. another group to grow
Us Aussies love ya too. Plenty of em
not me watching from Uzbekistan😂
i dont know why you guys dont do the 'mr beast in spanish' thing but obviously sidemen in spanish or even other languages.
Its about time they start dubbing their videos bro.
So i think there is room to improove
U should do the charity matches annually but in a different country each year
I mean, me an Indonesian loved your content mate so
Im from Germany and I love the sidmen content and everyone in that scene
even though the content might not be what it used to be i still love it
Because they’re not doing GTA anymore😭
Imagine having the pain of torsion and then going to the hospital and they say nothing is wrong… but I’ve felt the pain for over a year now… that’s worse
companies in various industries palteau as well. They then usually end up buying other companies or increasing the money from their current customers. I can see why they've been pushing their merchandise and food.
"MATHS WISE"
nothing to do with being "english based", it's that sidemen content is stale and boring. Zero energy, zero chemistry, every episode is like watching the inbetweeners turn up for community service minus the humour.
Sidemen is huge in Denmark aswell and the rest of Europe too i believe
I am american and i love the sidemen
Jeremy clarkson top 10 videos is a banger ! !
It’s because your videos are like 5 hours long and his is fun and short
I have been thinking about this for sometime actually and wonder if the sidemen and fans would like to see more old school top gear style content instead with challenges etc. ofc not focusing around cars but a huge factor.
Speed is a genius in terms of content creating and involvement with ppl..trust me..hes going to get even bigger..the guy loves diversity..and would go everwhere to celebrate it..thats why
Poor guys. Maybe start a GoFundMe?
Start by scratching off all the hide and seek videos
been an american sidemen fan since 2014, haven't left since ❤️
i'm from Sweden and i watch you guys
You need to come to Canada. We are die hard fans over here to push you a bit futher.
