I will never understand why mud trucks lighten the back of there truck . I am the only one who adds weight to the back of there truck for a mud run . It does no good to have your front sink and back end float . try driving across a dew covered pasture with a slight incline . It wont happen . You need to lock it in . Add weight and you won't even spin .And 1 more thing , lockers before tires . I recommend Detroit tru trac . In my opinion it is the best

@@nozxt69 yes . put a 4 wheel with no bed . Drive onto a dew covered pasture with a slight incline you will have to lock it in . You do not want your back to float and your front to sink . The back needs to be at least 200 pounds heavier than the front . Watch the mud run vids on you tube and you will see in street classes suv perform better because of balance .

@@nozxt69 many disagree with me but closely study the street class mud pits .Diesel trucks are the worst . They are basically front wheel drive

What is the purpose of those skirts some trucks have on the front? Is that to let it kind of come up on top of the mud instead of it getting caught up in the front axle and stuff? Thanks

Mud flap hanging under front is to keep water from splashing up in on the motor to try and keep the motor dry as possible

I guess no one cares about helping to get stuck trucks out of the mud, all different trucks drive right by the guys truck that is stuck over and over and over and over again.

That’s what the recovery equipment is there for. No point in hooking up truck to truck. Risk breaking your truck and that’s also how injuries happen. Leave it to the equipment. They pull you out a million times better than any truck.
