sometimes when you wear vans, it hurts you at the back of your foot. that might be the reason or either because he's lazy because I tend to do that when I'm lazy or my foot hurts so like I wear vans as slippers like what gd did.
I can't wear no show socks with my old skool vans because they give me blisters on the back, maybe they hurt him.

Sometimes it's more comfortable wearing it that way.. Especially if it's canvas shoes..
That's not a new trend. we've been doing that since we were kids, but only to our old shoes, it's just turns them into like stylish slippers. If we did that with our new shoes we'd get our ass's whooped, back then 50-60 dollar pair of shoes were expensive for 5 brats.
My brother's used to cut the backs off their old shoes and wear them. smh
