Excellent review! I bought mine a week ago but still in the box lol. The installation seems to be super super easy! I can't wait to test out this cooler once the warm weather approaches
Great review! I'd hypothesise that those idle results are a function of the cooler prioritising noise levels under normal conditions. In any case, the load result is your indicator of outright cooling capacity which was great to see!
How does the Peerless Assassin 120 (~$30) stand up to this? It easily tops all the other costly air coolers you've got listed (GN did a great review on it and now hold it up as the standard for air cooling)? 😂
Any idea what the TDP dispersion rating is? Amazon doesn't list that anywhere and I may have missed it if you disclosed that. The Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120E can handle up to 265 watts TDP and the most expensive variant is half the price for more performance. Thing looks good though (how many times have I bought something shiny or blinky to put in my PC that sits under my desk.....)
Question. How do you compare the Dark Rock Pro 5 to the DeepCool Assassin 4 you did the review 2/3 months ago? I'm using the DeepCool Assassin 4 and still love the CPU cooler to this day. That Dark Rock Pro 5 does look good IMO

Literally shows it on the video temp wise, assassin 4 is one degree hotter on load.
be quiet dark rock pro 5 vs deepcool assassin iv which is better ?
If you're in USA, be quiet would be better since deepcool is banned here.
@@bernardodebull and if in Asia?
@@jakobako dark rock is more quiet and thermals are equal per testing of kitgurutech.
That cooler seems like an easy recommendation to builders.
For sure!
will it fit with corsair vengeance ram on an msi z790 plus wifi motherboard
Dark rock pro 4 ?????
