After all the past teenage hype, recent play by Marta has been rather impressive. I hope she wins some tournaments this year. Carried her white dress very well too.

Noticed Kostuyk a year ago as potential future Slam Champion! But her serve action worries me, it could be better, and she as tendency to ease off her second serve too much. Apart from that, she can challenge for any title.... including AO 2023! I like her! 👏🙏

Amanda is not ready to come back to a huge open like this. Interesting how she apparently likes to play clay.. does well in clay but in the fastes of all the surfaces: Wimbledon she plays lights out. She gets injured and then cannot hack it pass a girl who has extreme momentum on her side. I applaud Martha who has been just waiting and taking on loses that should have been more closer matches in my opinion. I think Amanda does not want to play tennis. I think she wants to live off the fame of playing tennis and travel... and be cool. But it is very obvious that I see it. I go to the gym 5-6 times a week. The level of performances in terms of athletic style in her swing and dynamics has sort of gotten a notch down. Not sure. I truly hope she can pick it up but my comments might seem jaded but Martha is a living proof of persisting athleticism. And Amanda is an example of beauty, extremely well tough tennis. Great schooling. Unfortunate setbacks. However the ideal of this persistent north american princess as she is. And as she can be and the living expectation that she seeks as an approval from others from social media to the way she addresses media. And the way she acts it is very apparent that she walks this line of entitled bourgeois lifestyle . Where possibly all of her white entourage and friends keep telling her how able she is and how steady things might be when it is apparent that is otherwise. I am a fan but I am also entitled to speak out as to how I think some of her matches in certain stages seem to be rather lob sided towards her. She has never really done that well in AO open but some tournaments seem to correlate this congruent idea of social upward mobility that she moves within and her expected performance. Sometimes she lives up to it, sometimes she doesn't when she does not . I think it leaves a huge hole in this perspective of american society of entitlement and brat-like style tennis approach. I mean this. LIke I mean how much of a fan I am and how much I think she has potential..... what if martha wins the whole tournament!...

@@patricksanta lol i am not chill... they are both not just young.. super young!! and it is not about age. It is about being able to keep consistent. It is about time amanda knows that it is time for the next level .... it is all fun and games with instagram , blocking a bunch of lonely poor guys... telling guys to leave... etc etc... but at the end of the day. Martha just proved that it is constant effort that comes out on top...

@@obioraonyeonwu7643 i have seen her behaviour.... she acts like we as the fans owe her.... and martha has slowly and consistently been making strides... i mean ... classic example of an attitude of entitlement and discrimination based on class but with a playfull manner. Against basically a girl who is down to hearth and show a dimension of being more humble.

I APPLAUD martha and her no fear tennis. Great for her. The problem I have with the amanda anisimova package is that the media gets behind her. Everything becomes a calculated charade and some sort of story-line of class issues portrayed unto tennis. I say we hold her as fans, more accountable for her losses, more accountable for the fact that she flaunts how hooked up she is with all of her GF's and how sorry we should be for the fact that she can get into the club. (the tennis club). How hooked up she is with even all of the social media people in miami and then beyond. And then tennis what? - what happened to the storyline and the actual diatribe of your performance in the court? I am a weirdo right? I am the fan who cheers for you quietly in the stand. Applauds at you. Follows instructions. Buys the shirts of the brand you push on social media. Gawk at the tennis racquets you not just made famous but extremely more expensive. And legendary. You think it is some sort of social issue and that she is might be partial shareholder of the stock of a company of nike or something or a company that takes part in organizing the slams. ESPN loves her , pushes her best sides, in italy in france... like okay. So us as fans that respect the game and that made YOU who you are by supporting outlets of capitalist structure that are reflective towards us as fans. We end up being the losers for saying that you are pretty, giving you the benefit of the doubt, for being straight up and telling it like it is - that she is pretty. And she has shown flashes of brilliance that which drew us to her. If you play tennis as much as I do . And I do well. I know how she plays. I even copy certain parts of her style for her to basically p ss on all of us fans by telling us that we are mud (lol) and keep waiting for something that we all expected from the beginning. Which is a constant effort and an honest approach or at least a little bit more transparent. Not a buy buy buy this , look at me and how pretty I am. Look at the art I support. Look at the clubs I can afford. And then watch me lose - so we as fans are losers too right? No thank you. You are the only loser. Amanda is the type of girl who through social media would actually help break up relationships of guys who try to go out with girls like her. It is a double edge sword. And it only happens in tennis!. If you cheer for a team in collective sport, they usually apologize and they ask we "will do better next time". " I do not know what happened tonight , we gave it our all, but we came up short". Only in tennis and with Amanda Anisimova you get a kick in the arse, buy this massage gun and this super expensive racquet that I use. Thank you and goobye. Honestly - I met Ons J. very briefly at the york/national open tournament in toronto . Actually trying to just watch amanda practice. And I was extremely surprised at the polarity in tennis as to how class structure and wealth is correlated to expectation of success. That was the message I got from the whole tournament. I got to talk very briefly to Barbora... K. She was super cool... but the younger you get and the more american you get the more bipolar issues of class and race that gets sort of thrown into the fans. I felt it from loud boozy dumb Americans in London when i visited Wimbledon , I felt it at york university when i visited for the tournament of the (horrible) national bank open, I felt it in montreal ... Americans and girls like amanda are very good at letting you know how much above they are from the average fan but please keep looking at me and keep buying what I plug. Sorry. You are loser amanda.
