Anniversary is beyond the horizon of 30 years of mk so mk12 me personally I wanna see if it’s the continuation of aftermath ending of Firegod liu kang ending which introduces the great Kung Lao story or Shang tsung ending story which he is commanding all realms also we might see dark fujin or dark raiden as villains or even onaga or such other 3D era characters that we haven’t see in a while since Armageddon like havik sareena hotaru li mei ashrah the list goes on and that will be the Armageddon story and if it’s not mk12 I hope they make a complete trinity mk edition which collects all characters from nrs days which are mk9 mkx and mk11 and new storyline to add a flavor twist

I just played Injustice 2 last night! Its the greatest. I was hoping for Injustice 3 but Mortal Kombat vs DC 2 would be good. I totally disagree, the first DC vs Mortal Kombat was fantastic. Great video.

Imagine the stacked roaster of fighters, DLC, and online play. I would be very excited for this game. Now as far as the licensing issues with the rappers, I am sure his reputation with the Mortal Kombat games; celitifies his respect. And a lot of rappers would be down for doing a new fighting game. I know that is farfetched me wanting this, but Ed Boon is full of surprises. A MK 12 seems more likely, but I feel there's evidence pointing to another MK Vs DC. The first Injustice already establish the multiverse exist, plus the second one used that as the reason why characters outfits are customizable. MK 11 comes out, now they are dealing with time travel and multiverse versions of characters. The ending of the game as well left it possible for the series to in any direction. There also the guest characters in both games. Injustice series had Scorpion in the first and Subzero and Raiden in the second. MK just had the Joker. While they could be considered non cannon to the story of the games, they have a few interesting lines in their intros. one of Subzero's mentions Dark Khan. It may not be likely to see another MK vs DC but again they planted a couple seeds in multiple games, and the combat is damn near similar.
Injustice Comics are essentially 3 parts. 2 of those parts are represented via Injustice 1 & 2 (the games). The third part of injustice introduces Masters of The Universe characters (He-Man). So it would make sense Netherealm could just be making a MotU game before getting ready to drop Injustice 3 - which again, HEAVILY focuses on the masters of the universe. If the fans are waiting for injustice 3 - then they are probably aware of He-Man needing to be in the game, which is prolly why he said it’ll make more sense to the fans when they announce the game.
I want Injustice 3 the most as well, but yeah.... they gotta do something for MK 30th Anniversary. I hope it's not just a "30th Anniversary Collection" thing, just some games remastered. 04:32 - Zoning is not an issue, just like Rushdown and other playstyles are not issues. IJ1 and IJ2 are Zoning based games, that's part of their identity. Also regarding MK Vs. DC, it's was still a good game, defiantly not unpolished, and the story was good. And also some of the Fatalities in it were still brutal enough so they could've been in other MK games like Scoprion's Fatalities. As for the possibility of getting the announcement at EVO, I won't disqualify it but also won't hold my breath either. We will see.
I like MK but it's probably just me but I just want another Injustice. I just wanna know what happens next, I want more Injustice gameplay and playing those characters and want to see the new ones. 100% mk vs dc 2. How do you appease the thirst of both fan bases? You do it by merging both fighting games. Maybe the delay is down to to them expanding the story perhaps trying something ambitious like an open world setting mmo style who knows.

I think they should stick to their model they have mk9-Injustice,mkx-Injustice 2,mk11-(Injustice 3). Especially because the last mk got extra dlc and there's alot of focus on DC now that Discovery is now mostly in charge and alot of Synder stuff could happen.
They are inevitably making Injustice 3 which means the studio would HAVE TO have acquired the license for He-Man (Masters of the Universe) - the amount of time they have with the license probably allows them to make multiple games - OR if they have the license to make more than one game, injustice 3 would only be 1 and I doubt there would be an Injustice 4 thus the only other option would be MK vs MotU or just a MotU game stand alone

I think that with Covid hitting while injustice 3 was in production and with the WB merger, NRS is looking to getting out of the hole. MK12 is a no brainer, wise business decision. Mk vs. DC/ Injustice 3 would never bring in as much money as MK12. So if NRS is smart.... MK12 should be their next game from a business standpoint.

100% mk vs dc 2. How do you appease the thirst of both fan bases? You do it by merging both fighting games. Maybe the delay is down to to them expanding the story perhaps trying something ambitious like an open world setting mmo style who knows.

I think they should stick to their model they have mk9-Injustice,mkx-Injustice 2,mk11-(Injustice 3). Especially because the last mk got extra dlc and there's alot of focus on DC now that Discovery is now mostly in charge and alot of Synder stuff could happen.
If it's an armageddon kinda mk12 with every character from the MK universe in it, im all in, minus the armageddon 3d movement
They are inevitably making Injustice 3 which means the studio would HAVE TO have acquired the license for He-Man (Masters of the Universe) - the amount of time they have with the license probably allows them to make multiple games - OR if they have the license to make more than one game, injustice 3 would only be 1 and I doubt there would be an Injustice 4 thus the only other option would be MK vs MotU or just a MotU game stand alone
After mk11 aftermath I wanted another sequel but realized they were probably gonna do injustice 3 buttttt hearing this I would like the see mk12 but idk if they’d call it that since they basically rebooted the series with aftermath making lui kang the fire and lightning god and him trained the great Kung Lao to be the next champion I would love that seeing ass how jealous Kung Lao was of lui kang
If they were to do a mk vs dc 2 it would probably be MK Vs Injustice. This would allow characters such as Superman to have a fatality.
I hope we get a other MK game Bc honestly it's the best fighting game in the world not to mention the fact that if we get a other MK game I really hope expand the roster of fighters and give us some other grate DLCS

DCvsMK 2 makes the most sense, fatalities vs brutalities still, both keep the specials as well and just combine the rosters

I think that it would be the best thing ever if somehow, someway, Netherealm gets the rights to make a marvel game. I think that with how they did injustice and made a great dc story, they could make an amazing marvel story. There would be so much, if not more materiel to work with than dc.

I think that with Covid hitting while injustice 3 was in production and with the WB merger, NRS is looking to getting out of the hole. MK12 is a no brainer, wise business decision. Mk vs. DC/ Injustice 3 would never bring in as much money as MK12. So if NRS is smart.... MK12 should be their next game from a business standpoint.
Could (and likely will) be something more like shaolin monks instead of just another 2D fighting game, which could be why they're taking so long

I though about the same exact theory for the mk vs dc game. They've advanced each game so much so it would be most likely that a new mk vs dc game would be so much better! Also another thing I've noticed is thay Ed Boon always changes his profile pic on Twitter according to what game will be out next, and the latest pic i have seen on his profile was now with scorpion and batman on the pic. It might not mean anything but its something to think about
