I haven’t touch the game for over a year and just started a new game (even though I didn’t get through the entire campaign on my previous save file). TOR content is how I found your channel and love to see more of this content from you 👍
Unfortunately Warren cannot use Summon Magic. That's why many believe he falls short in comparison to other mages. Princess is "S" tier any day on my list ~ Max "LUCK"+ Summon who can also Heal & support. Too support.
I will have to argue for princess. Catiua princess can use Divine Summon and also Divine Draconic Spell Starfall which can damage and also exorcise undead as well. So she is a S tier for me. Simply anyone that can use summon spell alone is already S tier for me. I prefer to use Deneb and Iuria as Shaman as those 2 is the only ones except the 4 sisters can be change into Shaman. Overall I preferred to use 6 Shaman, 3 White Knights, Princess. Knight Commander and Lord (This when can use full team of 12 and this for Post game as need to use the wheel to get to use Lord and Princess at the same time.) I am fine with rest of the Tier list. I am not that interested in the Dark Priest as most her skill as Dark Priest need to kind of close to the enemy and also sleep and poison isn't that useful in TOR which I had already run a lot of test on it. Killing the enemies out right is the best way which is why Summon is the strong spell on a single target.
I think I'd move shaman down to A tier and move princess up to S tier. I don't know that you'd agree with me on moving shaman down, but here me out on moving princess up: She's a shaman of any element, even holy, but she can wear much better armor, she strips debuffs off of allies nearby and grants them all a crit buff, plus if the armor wasn't enough to convince you, she's got access to cursed 1H swords that grant her parry 3. Combine that with an aegis, and you've got a very powerful unit. I know everyone says dark priest is better than princess, topping a lot of tier lists, but I used dark priest a lot in LUCT and so I haven't used her in Reborn, something I should remedy. I think the reason I'd keep her in A tier is that it seems like she needs the stinky set to excel, and there's only one. I might be wrong on that, but I don't think I'm wrong on princess being a shaman but better =] (Also, I *wish* Lanselot Hamilton could be a white knight. Paladin's not terrible, and every group needs an intimidator and there are only three in the game: Knight Commander, Paladin, and Juggernaut. But five white knights would be fun.)
Ah man, it's that time again. 😂 I will forever argue Shamans are overrated by a huge margin. There's this tunnel vision that their unique functuons are only on them for some reason. They have one unique skill: They can read the weather. Nature power is a post game skill. It shows up for several classes, not just them. Summons aren't theirs either, and show up all over the place. Summon 2s require late POTD and San Bronsa. Their only unique-ish combination is Nature Power, Extend, and Summon 2. They have nothing besides use effects and Meditate to fund this. Valks cast for free, have Nature Power, and have all of their other features. All they sacrifice is range, but can move farther and use armor to ignore. Liches lack elemental summons, but have necromancies alongside dark summons thay allow them to easily fund nonstop spam. Ice Lich gets Ice Requiem/Nature Power, which crushes out of the box. Being non generic, Ogre Blade takes this combo into one shotting entire crowds. They have zero defensive options outside of killing before being killed, bad movement, next to no armor options, and are locked to 6 unique units. This means no generic features, like zombie or Ogre Blade transfer. Now the OB seems like an odd comparison, but remember Shamans require more maps to unlock than the POTD. Roddy 1 can drop your first Ogre Blade. To further note, their biggest damage boost isn't unlocked until the post game. They're a sidegrade to the Warlock until then. They are extremely vulnerable to birds, and dont even get Daggers for an emergency counter. They're good glass cannons, but that reputation of being the best unit ain't even close. The units it comes on get stat bonuses for the most part. Try using Valks instead, and you'll see how much easier they are to use without worrying about giving them every relic to overcome their tissue defenses. Also, A on Princess? Free crits and Meditate Armageddon spam would like to have a word! 😆
Shamans have access to Rods for 100 MP restore and +5 spell range as well as access to Starfall for Exorcism over Valkyries. Spell range alone lets them not waste RT on movement so they can cycle turns better. They also have better movement than generic casters in a pinch.
@@dragons_in_space7211 They don't have any range over any other caster type, and they all have access to staves. The main difference there is that Necromancers, Liches, and Valks don't even need them. What I was trying to point out here was not that they can't be made great...everyone can...but that they're overrated as some unstoppable unit despite having a very narrow field of options, which even then they're still comparable to their contemporaries in.
@@CoffeePotato bro just seems mad cuzs people rate it highly shamans do good damage high range etc yes other classes too but if people like shaman over lich necromancer etc i don't see why you upset about it and nah valkyries are the worst in terms of magic users lol they are a bit tankier but lack damage range nature lich i'd argue is just a dark version of shaman but better XD also your arguement falls flat "you gotta get late post game to make em useful" if you need to do potd 2 times to get ogre blade that's 215 floors XD vs 6 fortress fight that's just being lying lol and no you not skipping floors in potd for obv reasons clear bias showing here
Personally I would put Dark Priest in S tier because of the debuffs/ailments skill alone. Everything else I’m in agreement with, I was a little disappointed with recruiting Lanselot and Warren, they’re not bad I was just expecting more I guess.
I've gotten Lord in the PS1 and PSP versions; but I chose not to get Lord in Reborn. On an unrelated note: I'm sure I'll finish Palace of the Dead eventually ...

How does luck even work in this game?
@cwatz1221 LUCK raises critical hit chances and Magic spells benefits from it in Reborn (but not on PSP TO:LUCT)

These are the types of videos I dig.
They're fun to watch, and fun to record, so I get it!
You pretty much got the Wicce pronunciation correct. Some might say Witch-A, but I’m proud of my accent.

My only gripe is having no Unique ninja character
That would have a been cool to see. Someone like rikimaru from the tenchu series. Or edge from final fantasy 4.
@ELD89 edge would be nice since he knows all elemental ninjutsu
I usually make Voltaire a ninja.
You had me at Nurgle

You get those White Knights in around mid-game too, IIRC? You'll get a lot of mileage out of them.

Lancelot B and Knight is better? Ok, counter point, do they look cool as him? That's what I thought

B? Deslike
bruh he cant use summon speels and hes like ur typical mage
