@@seanhennsey2605 not necessarily, that's a testament to how talented LeBron is an how much of a freak athlete he was. @@de.talemusic yeah but when your taller then somebody your main goal is keep him from the basket and getting pass you you make h have to shoot over you and with the height advantage it makes it extremely difficult
@@seanhennsey2605 I understand what you're trying to say, but doing so on the perimeter and off ball is night and day versus doing so in the paint, speed kills. Especially when your smaller, you can hide behind big men and slip through cracks of the court and through picks to create space.
Shannon says Lebron about championships, now bron knows he cant win a championship With Westbrook , But swear K.D Couldnt Win Without Curry And Warriors , Before K.D Won , K.D Played With Westbrook For The Longest , An Wonder Why K.D Couldnt Win Before K.D Held Too Warriors Cause Warriors Had Called K.D .
I can understand why people say Miami (more consistently great), but honestly what he did with Cleveland in those finals against the Warriors.... I don't think I'll ever see something like that again.
I was just thinking this. From a youthful, physical dominance pov I’d take Miami Bron. But the maturity, IQ, and overall dominance was on a diff level during his 2nd stint w/ Cleveland
People say Miami because he was elite on offense and defense but he also had the most help on both ends he ever had so he could do that. The other teams he had to score more and it hurt his defense at times because he had to pace himself.
Respectable

@@juwantaylor5293 I have to ask you do you think Jordan with Lebron's team mates beat the Warriors in 2018
@@davemarinas3259 no i honestly don't think so that warriors team was problems for anyone
2016-2018 lebron was the most complete basketball player of all time. His experience, IQ, and confidence that he developed in Miami came full circle. In my opinion, if Kyrie and Love didn’t get injured in 2015, and KD didn’t go to the Warriors, he would have won 4 straight championships, he was absurdly dominant in all those playoffs, and no team would beat him and Kyrie. Of course KD did turn those tides tho.
I wouldn’t say he was the most complete ever. He definitely lost a step defensively after the 2016 finals and his shooting was not as good during the miami years. Offensively, he might’ve been at the peaks of his powers in 2018, but I think the efficiency and defense is too much to trade off from his championship years in Miami.
I think he could’ve gotten maybe another chip in 2015, but I don’t think the cavs had a shot of beating anybody from the west in 2018. 2017 would’ve been a toss up considering that the warriors came back healthy and motivated to beat the cavs.

It’s a stretch to say he would’ve won four straight championships. You don’t know that. It’s a speculative statement driven by fandom.
I think if Kyrie didn't get hurt in 2015 they win and in 2017 and 2018 if the Warriors don't get KD it would be a toss up
2018 was such a dominant year. Never seen anything like that. Yea he lost to the warriors with KD but that year with that team…. Those shots in the playoffs he was insane.
The cavs were the second worst team in the league the year after he left; that alone says enough
Got to the finals with an old man Kyle Korver, injured Love, Jeff Green, and a fully loaded JR smith. You can’t make this up.
Mans was a deity fr😭😭🔥🔥🔥🙏🏾
Lebron went up against Steph, KD, Klay, and Draymond all in their prime and had a 51 point game to steal game 1. Then JR Smith showed up. Can’t think of another game where the rosters were so lopsided but the game went to OT.

I think he was at his athletic peak in Miami, (never seen that combo of strength, speed, and agility) but as a basketball player, I think his first and second years back in Cleveland were when he was at his best overall player wise
2014-2018 Cleveland Lebron was a mastermind, and he was still physically fit.
I agree completely. He wasn’t at his peak physically when he went back to CLE but he was a better shooter and knew how to control the game mentally
his athletic peak was actually his first stint in Cleveland, his agility, speed and athleticism overall was nothing the nba has ever seen in it's history and there will never be another cyborg with that tenacity every again
What do you mean first and second!? Did you not see what he did in the 2018 playoffs when he dragged that motley retinue to the finals on his back? That was arguably his greatest accomplishment of his career. Even after being swept by golden state.

Skip missed the point of the original question. Shannon nailed it! The Miami version of Lebron was better than any other time, because he actually had top-tier defense, whereas the other versions aren't on par with that (save for offense). I do believe he controlled game flow better in his 2nd Cleveland stint, but he wasn't the defender he was in Miami (save for maybe one season in the 2nd cleveland run).
2018 LEBRON was the greatest basketball player I ever saw. It’s was like watching one man destroy the entire league. 1 vs 5 and they still couldn’t stop him.
LeBron’s first years with Cleveland was my favorite. You could tell he was different and made for the nba. His chemistry with his team was incredible to watch. He had nothing but a bunch of nobodies and they put in a lot of work. He seemed to more fun with that team on the court. The maturity he developed later on was necessary but I liked everything he did before that development took place.

So you’ve never seen or heard about Jordan? The man that averaged 30pts for his career. (It’s not all about scoring) but a 10 time leading scorer, one of the best defenders for his size! Honestly, the best I’ve ever seen LBJ is when he returned to Cleveland. You can’t ignore his meltdown in the finals his first season in Miami, and then again against the Spurs his last season in Miami, and we all know what the Lakers have been… He looked like a machine going up against the Warriors while in Cleveland, he reminded me of MJ in terms of complete control, confidence, and knowing exactly what to do for his team to succeed, and this was against a true super team 💯
What meltdown against the spurs????
@Jay WBell kwhai did a good job but as a team the spurs didn’t stop lebron. He averaged 28 and most of the time sat out at the end because they were losing so bad. Bosh and Wade were the downfall of that series just like it was lebron in 2011
Lol obv the Mavs series was a meltdown but Bron did all he could in that Spurs series
@Jay WBell people really just look at kawhii winning finals mvp and think LeBron got locked up. LeBron averaged 28 ppg that series. Absolutely was not a meltdown

That 51 point game 1 loss (Thanks JR), was the best game I’ve ever seen. Absolute masterpiece. I agree with Skip actually, that series when it was just him and Matthew Delavedova was something special, he gave the warriors all they could handle. He lost that series and should have been MVP.

Easily the second stint in Cleveland, but more specifically the 2017 - 2018 season, ESPECIALLY the playoffs. Lebron was literally in GOD MODE during that time only to get to the finals and have the super team of golden state waiting for you. And he STILL drop 51/8/8 in the first game. With the team he had, he had no business being anywhere near the finals, and to this day I say this, if Cleveland would’ve won that series against golden state, Lebron James would’ve been UNDOUBTEDLY the Greatest player of all time. 2013 Miami made me a believer
2018 and its no debate. Average damn near a 40 point triple double in the finals is something straight out of 2k. Never seen something like that.
And got humiliated in the finals by KD. Give me heat Lebron.
@@dpistons149 how was he humiliated? Just curious.
@@user-pg9um1te7q maybe because they 🧹 him
@@dpistons149 humiliated? Not at all. Warriors humiliated Cavs, Durant didn't humiliate LeBron.
2018 lebron got swept in the finals
Why does skip always forget this is a TEAM sport? Why he always act like MJ went 1v9. Like bro his logic is so bad and biased
And always brings up the Ray Allen shot but doesn’t bring up Steve Kerr’s shot in the 97 finals to give Michael his sixth ring
@@MichelleJ79 Kerr and Allen were completely different situations tho. Kerr didn't save any series. Kerr's shot didn't come off a MJ miss. Besides Lebron's miss, Lebron didn't really have anything to do with Allen hitting his shot. And '97 was MJ's 5th. 6th was the shot over Byron Russell. Skip for sure the biggest Lebron hater tho for rehashing Lebron's failures instead of just answering the damn question on which stint was Lebron's best.
Miami LeBron was good. But that 2011 finals kind of hurt really bad. The 2nd stint with Cavs is probably the best. Specially the 2018 finals. Where he literally did it all and almost beat a team with 4 HOF all in their prime in game 1 ! Man that 2018 LeBron was something else.
Actually I agree with Skip. 2nd stint in Cleveland is the best. For me 2017-18 season and especially playoffs Bron was absolutely superhuman.
Gimme second stint in Cleveland 🤷🏾♂️
Skip shamelessly cherry picks stats … only dude who can take a few games out of multiple seasons and try to sell that sh*t as the norm 🤷🏾♂️..
fr how does bro know all these exact games
I think its his second stint with Cleveland. Miami he was good after a rough start but when he went back to cleveland and those performances he put forth...never seen anyone else even come close to doing what he did.
Best version of LeBron is a tie between Miami and his 2nd stint in Cleveland. Physically LeBron was at his best in Miami. However LeBron became the most well rounded elite player in Cleveland during his 2nd stint.
miami lebron was the most talented . 2nd stint with cleveland was the best in terms of ability and mentally . 1st stint in cleveland was the young phenom with outrageous raw talent but still learning the game. lakers lebron is the one that’s defying odds and adding to his game even when he should be getting worse .
The best bron was the second stint w the cavs 15-18
He got destroyed by warriors in the finals

This really shows skips is a hater this dude don’t stop 😂
I don’t blame him for real because this how he makes his money😂😂
Dude was born to hate lebron
2016-2018 bron is the best player I’ve ever seen live 💯
He got destroyed by warriors
The second stint in Cleveland was a different animal. Lebron turned from pure animal to being more methodical. His passing, shooting, vision, was crazy.
no matter the topic, skip always delivers his classics
2012-2018 LeBron is the greatest basketball player I’ve ever seen.
@Marcus Clark or you just havent watched bron 2012-2018 because even MJ couldnt match that version of bron and i have watched both, this was the most complete basketball player of all time not just defense and offense, EVERYTHING was done at the highest level.
2012-2018 kd better than lebron 💯
@@ng7214 2012-2018 lebron is overrated. He lost 4 finals during 2012-2018
@Marcus Clark Which one? it’s possible if we’re talking the 93 retirement
2nd Time around Bron was the most dominant
No..he got destroyed by warriors
with all due respect, but how can they NOT mention that entire 2018 playoffs run, especially the series vs boston when they are talking about the 2012 series vs boston. that year alone makes his second stint in cleveland the best increment of his career, with the chip in '16 as the cherry on top.
Because lebron got swept in 2018 finals
@@juwantaylor5293 no shame seeing that Cavs teams had no business even being in the finals against the cheat code warriors
@@LordBranniganThe cheat code warriors? 😆 🤣 😂
@@LordBranniganThe cavs did had business being there it just lebron choked
@@juwantaylor5293 34.0 ppg 8.5rpg 10.0 apg but yeah he choked lol casual
His last 2 years in Cleveland were where I can state him to be true one-man army. He may have given up defense over time & purposely to allow more of his teammates to get involved & most importantly avoid injuries if necessary, but can still defend like all the elites if he has to.
2013 for me, lebron's jumper was money and he could and was guarding 1-5, that might be the best player in nba history, he was absolutely amazing in the finals
Skip such a hater he couldn't even answer the question..
It’s all for ratings
Everyone has a role in this show Shannon has his and Skip has his
I would say Cleveland LeBron from 2014-16 because he had learned how to win a championship from D Wade and be a better leader plus he had learned from Pat Riley on how to build a better roster
That does not mean it was his best version individually.
2012-13 LeBron was more athletic, better shooter and way better defensively. He was literally robbed for dpoy in 2013.
Leadership is not a basketball skill.
Oh please d wade didnt teach him anything. He was just an above average teammate that lebron finally had
2014-2018 …. 2016? Lol
Lebron failed Cleveland
@@juwantaylor5293 ur dad 🥺
Skip is crazy, never wants to give Lebron James his credit!
As a Toronto fan, I still get nightmares about those 2nd stint Cleveland days 😵
Lebronto😳
I know its mad disrespectful but LEBRONTO is one of the funniest nba memes ever. Glad yall got one tho, well deserved.
What’s the best version of lebron?
Skip: 2011 meltdown, Ray Allen, baby thunder, Shane battier 3’s, kyrie saved his legacy
Bro I mean this ain’t even hate this is something else
2K14 LeBron is the best LeBron, absolute menace😂
That a fact
2013, Kawhi choke one of his free throws that could've made it 4 point lead instead of a 3 point lead, which lead to Ray Allen tying 3 pointer...
I’m goin 2018 bron tho carrying that sorry Cavs team back to the finals and playing the single greatest game I ever seen dropping 51 on the KD steph warriors almost stealing game 1 one of the single greatest seasons of all time not to mention the other 3 years in that stint
Those shots he hit in Toronto were unbelievable
Miami and cleavland Lebron he was more athletic than anybody on the court almost every night…so he just used that to dominate..but his second stint in cleavland especially by 2018 he mastered everything there is to know about basketball. he has the highest the iq in basketball maybe Chris Paul. But the combination of skill mastery, athletics, and iq. Gotta go wit 2018 playoff bron
Cavs(2015-2018) he was a monster. I'm not a big fan of lbj but he was a complete package on those years
Miami Bron was unstoppable 🔥
2016-2018 LeBron was the most clutch Version
Lebron choked in 2017 and 2018 finals
I haven't watched the video but I heard skip mentioning LeBron's 2011 meltdown in the Finals in games 4-6
Correct
2018 Lebron was an absolute beast. His gamewinner against the First Round Pacers, his contested fadeaway shots against LeBronto, his contested back-to-back threes against the Celtics, and playing a near immaculate game 1 against the Warriors as a one-man show absolutely highlighted his abilities in all facets of the court. Of course, his defense wasn’t perfect, but his offensive arsenal was at its peak for sure.
Skip basically spent an entire segment talking about what Lebron didn't do in a particular Finals which is the same thing he always does before he FINALLY answered the question! When Skip hates on Lebron, he truly hates HARD and its embarrassing at this point 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
LeBron lives rent free on this show.
Second Cleveland stint.
Second stint Cleveland lebron got destroyed by warriors
His second stint in Cleveland was the perfect combo’ of athleticism & IQ.
lifelong Heat fan chiming in: it's Cleveland II Lebron. He learned how to win in Miami and evolved with us, but my goodness 2016-2018 Lebron is legendary
Second go around LeBron was there physically still but mentally so far ahead. That last Cavs squad he took to the finals was crazy. Jeff Green was his second best overall player..
I guess LeBron can't have teammates that have big games in the Finals according to skip but MJ had Scottie, Rodman, Kerr and Paxton have big games in the Finals
That’s why I don’t even take Skip serious when he talks about LeBron.
First stint in Cleveland: 28/7/7
Miami stint: 27/8/7
Second stint in Cleveland: 26/8/8
LA stint: 26/8/8
Basically LeBron has always been consistent
@Jugger Not🔧 lebron garbage 🗑
Lebron trash 🗑 he lost 6 finals and he's nba all time turnovers leader
@Jugger Not🔧 lebron not top 6 all time In nothing
@Jugger Not🔧 any caterogery lebron not top 6 in nothing
The miami LeBron is the best version but those first 7 years in CLE was so much fun to watch
Does anyone notice how skip ignored the entire question and bashed him for some of his moments
