I bought a Doogee Smini. This device is similar to the Cubot King Kong Mini 3, which I use regularly, but with fingerprint reader and a better camera with auto focus working, a performance upgrade and the display on the back as a nice addon. The only big negative point for me is the non-functioning inertial scrolling / momentum scrolling / flinging (i.e. scrolling up/down, gradually slowing down) with one finger on websites in the system's builtin browser (Android System Webview / Chrome): scrolling usually stops immediately after the finger is lifted from the display - with two fingers it works so-so. In Firefox-based browsers and apps that do not use Android System Webview to display their content however, there are no flaws in this regard.
I've just ordered one on amazon. I think that I have had enough with smartphones 6.5 inch plus, in my pocket at work, then cracked screen, other one smashed screen and latest one with dual camera smashed as well! As per your review it sounds that I have made a good choice, consider the price. Thanks
Thanks, a useful review. I've wanted a small, tough phone for a while now for basic stuff (calls, WhatsApp, maps, listening to music) but not really liked any of the options until I found this. The overall form factor and the back screen sold it to me and I've actually just bought one on sale from AliExpress so I'm looking forward to receiving it in a couple of weeks. Thanks again for helping me decide!
@@Corcioch Hi, yes I did, it's great, really pleased with it. Texting with 2 thumbs is a bit slow to be honest, plenty of typos, but I've never been the best even on a bigger screen. Perfectly fine for WhatsApp, etc. maybe not so much for longer ditties. Apps are quick, a short delay but nothing noticeable really. I'm using it as my main phone now, for everything other than games. The battery lasts me a day, which is fine for me as I plug it in overnight every day anyway. I'd recommend it, especially if you can get it on sale like on AliExpress like I did.
I would buy this except it doesn't have an earphone jack. This is not a luxury on a telephone. If you're working in a noisy environment or your driving you might need to attach a headset to talk. While this is fine but during a long shift, Or when you're busy a wired headset microphone just works. No messing about. What's the other option? Scrabbling around for your wireless buds, but fallen down the side of your car seat. It's a damn shame because this phone is perfect in every other way as far as I'm concerned.
@@unassailable6138 I really don't get this mentality there's so many situations that come up, late night train travel, camping staying at someone's house going on a trip. The number of times I wanted to enjoy a film late night maybe when I can't sleep and my buds are out of juice just being able to have some backup earphones is absolute heaven. Also when driving to be able to slap on a 3.5 mm jack headset. No switching on no pairing no fiddling about the little box. Just direct connection as soon as you plug in.
@@Jamesnebula I agree, understandable. I recommend the Tank Mini, it has a headphone jack and a great battery. I have the jelly star but the battery sucks.
The Smini from Doogee tends to be an astonishing one that tends to be a good performer with the mediatek chipset and also has integrated elegant design.
I don't know about you but i'm typing more on my phone than playing game or using camera yet there's no simulation how it feel typing in this small and tall smartphone, but this production definitely better than other reviewer 👍
Just unboxed my Doogee Smini, and it's a game-changer. The compact design is perfect along with that rear display and mediatek processor, is pure genius. Loving the innovative features.

Is ilegal to use headsets while driving.
Only stupids do that.
For driving You have earheadset, and bluetooth.
Lol, just use a USB wired headphone, nobody needs RCA jacks anymore.
