    My anxiety is terrible. I describe anxiety as being in a state of fight or flight all the time even at moments that don't call for that. It's worst early in the morning as I am in fear of the progression of the day. It's crazy!!

    Anxiety to me is not worry I’m literally not worried about anything. It’s a feeling of panic like you’re going to suddenly die. It’s like being high on weed with extreme paranoia without actually being high. It’s dissociating and not feeling like you’re a human being.

      LSD and mushrooms completely changed my whole outlook on life . I became a better version of myself This experience gave me a lot of confidence about my self and my body . A bunch of bad thought / behavior patterns were broken . One of these was pretty bad OCD that made me wash my hands a lot . It gave me a lot of hope that things will be fine , this is the one thing that I heard throughout the trip : Everything is alright . The main reason for the trip was my severe depression and it definitely helped me ( although it's not gone ) . Before all I could do was lay in bed . Now I am trying to rebuild my life one step at a time which wasn't possible before . "

    Great video! I found a lot of help from a person called TheAnxietyGuy that's on UA-cam. Your segment on keeping in the here and now reminded me of one of the techniques he mentions using when one starts to feel those physical symptoms of a panic attack coming on. You snap your finger next to your ear and either say out loud (ideally or just think it if you're maybe in public or something) and it reminds you to come back into exactly that. Here and now. That is the biggest problem. Mind always wondering off looking for threats that aren't there. Tigers in the bushes from our ancient caveman days 😁

    I’ve been dealing with anxiety ever since I was 9 years old… I am now 17. There are times I have good months but atm, I’m having hard months. I’m getting many panic attacks per day, it’s causing me to not be able to sleep. It’s all stemming from the fear of throwing up… which is due to my past trauma. It hasn’t gone away after years and years. But when I do get anxious, I get even more anxious. I’ve also lost my appetite completely. I can’t eat at all. If i do, I get a panic attack. It’s a constant cycle. It’s exhausting and terrifying.

    • @erinpait
      @erinpait 2 роки тому

      This basically sounds exactly what I've gone and am going through. So I hope you feel better knowing your not the only person having to deal with this terrible cycle. One of the main things I recommend is getting a homeopathic non drowsy nausea medicine (the brand I use is hylands) and taking it when you start feeling nauseous so that you aren't just fighting the feeling which just makes it worse, and causes more anxiety. Second I recomend finding some nice calming books to read, magazines to look at, or youtube videos to watch (personally I like watching the laid back country lifestyle videos). And so your brain starts connecting these things with feeling calm, so you are basically training your brain to feel better. For me I found sleeping propped up on 4 or 5 pillows so that I'm in a reclined sitting position makes it easier for me to fall asleep. And also for me I listen to the same rain sound video every night and the familiar sound helps me relax. As for eating.... it is a constant struggle, but finding foods that you know your stomach can take can lessen the anxiety that goes with eating (I eat eggs and simply carbs like a plain cracker when I feel bad and dont feel like I can eat anything). I dont know if any of this will be helpful to you but hopefully you will feel better soon.

    thanks for the video. My anxiety came back last year after some health issues. And now i get anxiety bad when theres no one home with me. And its a huge struggle when i have to be home alone when my parents leave once a month for like 2 to 3 hours for my moms dental visits. I think mine is because i worry im going to pass out while no one is here due to my health issues that are still current. I even had a panic attack so bad the last time they were gone i called 911 because i thought something bad like a heart attack or a stroke was going on. And then later found out it was me over reacting to my physical symptoms and fears and that it was just a bad panic attack. And i really dont want that to happen again. Today is one of those days my parents are gone, and im having some troubles, so ive been watching these kinds of videos. This was helpful. Thanks :D

    Thank you so much for making this. I have dealt with anxiety for half of my life and I never knew exactly what was going on. I've only recently realized what was happening and I'm just starting to try and deal with this so I can live a happier, healthier life. I won't say that it's severe but it has made functionality in my daily life a lot more difficult than it needs to be. I wish everyone luck! We can do this!

    Thank you so much for this video. It’s so ironic that I discovered it today because I was actually doing my own research on how to overcome anxiety. Another tip for being in the now during tough times is to focus on your five senses. For example The things you see hear smell taste and feel.

      Kristy, Heal yourself. Reduce negative thoughts. Its quite simple. Your breath is directly related to your mind [brain] causing negative thoughts and anxiety For a relaxed life sit on a chair, back erect, hands on lap with palms upwards, eyes closed, be still and observe your incoming--outgoing breath at the entrance of the nostrils for around 10-15 minutes or more. Slowly negative thoughts will reduce and relax the mind. Deep inhalation is not needed. Whenever you are free during the day or night before sleep sit or lie down still and observe your breath. Being still reduces negative thoughts. Do the above practice daily to have a good life. Best wishes and prayers. Shyaaam Sir. -Counsellor.

    Great subject. I definitely have anxiety. It was really bad. Worried about everything just made stuff up to worry about. I recognize it now. However I found i avoid or delay things that will cause me unease. I am working on it by pushing through it. Just do it. Let’s see what happens.

    I understand what you are saying...had to cut family members off my social media for being dramatic and disrespectful. I still wish them well and extend prayers from afar. Do you experience panic attacks? I would like to know how you manage one as it is occurring. Thank you
