I go with the vintage style of the jacket. Gloves on would probably work for snow. It's just the price I would question at the point of purchase. Mark

Is it waterproof? or only water resistant?
The makers claim that it is fully waterproof but I've only used it in showery weather and not a real downpour yet. Its been fine so far.
