It was really nice to hear that you are interested in analysing psychotic states further.
I was quite psychotic for a couple of years and got the diagnosis of Paranoid Schizophrenia at that time. Now I have been back on track for a few years, but the experience pushed me from atheism to a philosophical and spiritual seeking.
During my psychosis I felt like I experienced powerful synchronicities, and I still do. The difference imo was that lots of the synchros in psychosis just led me further into delusional fantasies and nightmares. In retrospect it seems like a mechanism to rid my then fragile ego of delusions by enforcing and growing them until they explode.
Keep up the Good work guys

I meet you both in that effort as well, and i suggest adding soil to the conversation as part of the solution. Excellent discussion, thanks for sharing.

Yes beautiful! Soil was core to the framing of Underground Philosophy. Thanks for sharing your comment. Same offer to yourself as the comment below with @telekatron

Good stuff. I would say concerning intimacy and ones learned language, the ability to engage with groups of people and society/culture, I noticed social media and the younger generations have a aesthetic of connection that is very powerful but actually moving in the inverse direction in such a way its almost invisible meaning, the apps have created a substitute for connection, but over time it has evolved in its own survival mechanisms to mimic human connection and cultural/conversational dynamics. Since they can quote Carl Jung and all the most famous relationship coaches etc and essentially do less work than ever, there is a massive empty space of embodied wisdom action and experience that seems on the surface very similar to those people who have done the work who they are all quoting .
Coupled with strange dynamics of post modern materialist language constructs, social media has created a hotbed of insincere language and use of culture mimicking that sort of fools people with a base rate fallacy social interaction of pseudo novelty. People think they are making progress and standing for something new but are simply aligning with pop culture and big corp aesthetics as a standard and through all that are not participating in challenging conversations necessary for societal growth.

To make it a bit clearer I would say the type of scenario where someone is sharing something deep and intimate, or possibly something academically complex and drawn out, there needs to be a certain receptivity as you spoke of here with the ants, but that specific mechanism of recognizing the deep, the nuanced and holding patient space for that which is a relevant story which we don't recognize because it runs parallel to our social norm experiences (and in this case is a relevant one not just self aggrandizing) THAT crucial space, that dynamic, that specific atmosphere, is what is not only missing but actively being replaced by tech that mimics and fills that space along with being so flashy and distracting intentionally by its programming, its almost unrecognizable as a imposter or a threat.

Love this. Yes absolutely. This is an essential point to make, and at the same time to do so in a manner that remains open to connecting with the authenticity that is seeking that genuine participation, despite the layers of faux and bullshit. This was part of a conversation I shared with a woman who attended the Underground Philosophy event the other day and remains very relevant. Much of what is to be 'spoken' at a level general enough to connect, or which has reached that level of widescale consumption and 'meme'ification really does need a context of reception to help distinguish true authorship from mimicry absent desire for real relation with the process of crafting voice -- a mode of contribution that serves the richness of that very channel / context for reception. Yes, super key.
Some other angles that are relevant imo is to extend conversation to communication, and 'voice' to the many modes of expression available, and to welcome engagement with those, which is slightly easier to incorporate with quality in physical space.

@@telekatron Yes beautiful there it is -- I wrote my comment above before reading this. If you would like to reach out to voicecraft.network@gmail.com I will share the Underground Philosophy recording with you when it's ready. This was part of the core message there. I am unsure if I am going to share publicly as it's quite intimate and my gut is that it doesn't translate value wise that well to the digital. But at the same time, those who really value this project and who are in principle open to contributing to it and learning with it would find it tremendously valuable.

I spoke about that atmosphere being replaced / predated / parasitised (knowingly and unknowingly) in terms of communication commons. And the core intention was to make explicit the criticality of participation that makes possible reception. This was also the key point in the Zak Stein part 2 which was shared privately.

@@Voicecraft Cool thanks, Zak Stein probably makes the most coherent case (within two hour format) of anyone I've seen for alarm raising around A.I. automation and its destructive effects on development of youth.
