This is so helpful for those of us living in countries where we have to blind buy all our ME fragrances. Thank you Adwoa 🙏🏼❤️. You look lovely as always.😍🥰
Happy to help sis. More to come 🙏🏾❤️
Hello Adwoa.
When ever I type "AD" my phone shows Adwoa. 😂😂😂
Initially, I didn't like Ajwad but after a year and some the metallic nuance faded off and I am now enjoying it so much. It has now become so smooth that I can't stop sniffing it.
With ME fragrances I now believe patience and maceration is key. I'll no longer rule out perfumes without giving them a chance.
God bless you greatly. ❤🙏🏼
😂😂😂
I loved Ajwad from day one. The metallic vibe never bothered me. Am glad it settled and you enjoy it better now.
Yes patience upon patience is what some ME fragrances require 😂
I love this type of Videos especially that i have to blind buy them 😊
Thanks Andreea. I will keep them coming ❤
Love this kind of videos❤
Thanks Payal 👍❤
Love your videos, I watch them and buy with your advice, thank you so much for uploading this type of content
You are so welcome Rehana.
Am glad am able to be of help ❤️
So glad you spoke about how similar caramel cascade is to eclair. I have caramel cascade and people were making me feel like I was missing out because they said eclair is so much better.
I never got mushroom with caramel cascade either. And I’m just going to believe you that I do not need eclair! Thanks!!!
Also… I heard that Lattafa African Drummer is actually a dupe for Dolce & Gabbana The Only One Intense. Do you by any chance have that to compare? I love the D&G and have 2 bottles because it’s discontinued… but if African Drummer is close to that, I’m going to want a bottle lol.
I have both, and prefer Eclair. Even after weeks, I still get that playdough note in Caramel Cascade. This is just what my nose picks up. I never got the alcohol note in Eclair, It just seems smoother to me, but again, this is me. You probably don't need both though. Don't feel like you're missing out......because you're not.
Hi Robin!
Personally I don’t think you are missing out because you do not have Eclaire. Am glad you also don’t get the mushroom vibe in Caramel Cascade. I don’t know how long you’ve had yours but it gets stronger with time. I enjoy both but they give very similar experience.
La African Drummer does not remind me of The only one intense. What the share is the creamy dark coconut.
You might want to get the OG on the grey market since I think it’s still available in the grey markets online and it’s considerably affordable.
Hope this helps ❤
This consistency is on steroids! 😅 But I love it
Period! 😂😂😂
Thanks sis 🙏🏾❤️
Thanks for this type of review. I feel I have too many that are in the same DNA. This helps to declutter.
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you too 👍❤️
Very nice video. You look beautiful ❤️
Thank you so much 👍❤️
These videos are appreciated😊 there has been so many times I have practically bought the same fragrance in different bottles 😂💸
Glad you like them! More to come and thanks for your presence here ❤️
Yess! Love the comparisons. I have also bought a few that ended up being similar/same scent and I hate doing that if I don’t really love it. Greatly appreciate this!
Can you please consider putting the name of the perfumes on the screen? Thank you.
Noted ❤
Thank you Adwoa, this is very helpful. I must say you are the only perfume reviewer who's for Caramel Cascade ❤️
Hi chomi
@@BantuLioness Hi how are you?
@@LebogangLivingstone I'm good friend which middle eastern fragrance are you enjoying ?
I know right 😂
Love them both ❤
That vid was very helpful. Thank you.
You are welcome ❤
I have the Lattafa African Drummer, and I have received a couple of compliments.
I live in a tropical country and this perfume suits so well here. Many compliments from my coworkers!
This is a great idea for a video! Very helpful, I hope you do more of these.
Thank you! Will do! 👍❤️
Great video Adwoa! I enjoy it💮
I'm glad you did. Thank you ❤️
I am in love with Liam Grey but the performance is killing me. Finishing a 100ml bottle in a month is not great lol. And the Secret Musk is musking, it is gorgeous. I must confess that to my absolute horror, I am liking it better than Empire Victor because of performance.
You don’t say 😂😂
That’s impressive because I believe you have several other fragrances 😂 but I totally understand.
Secret musk is good good ❤❤
Empire isn’t long lasting
Al Nashama is gorgeous and last for HOURS
I bought Al Nashama a blind buyI love love love it!!!!! It smells so beautiful to my nose
I love comparison videos. Thanks so much for this one!!!
You are so welcome and thank you too ❤️
Thank you Adwoa this fragrances comparison video is very helpful!
Thanks Paradise. Am glad to be of help ❤️
Thank you for the Video 😍
You're welcome Ramona.
Thank you for watching 👍❤️
Beautiful Adwoa. Thank you for these videos even though we thought we never needed them.
My pleasure sis ❤️‼️
Thank you for the amazing video sis❤
My pleasure sis! Thank you too Renee 👍❤️
Hello dear Adwoa❤such a fan of this series 🫶🏻can’t wait for your choices🤗😍😍
I'm so glad you like this Manu. I will keep them coming. Thank you ❤️
Thank you for this detailed comparison review. It's so helpful considering I blind buy almost all my Middle Eastern fragrances. I'm yet to get my hands on any of the bianco latte dupes but I'm looking forward to getting Eclaire. Hearing you talk about Karus secret musk being a dupe for Arabian Tonka makes me want to get my hands on it. I have Al Nashama and I like because of its performance. It lasts so looonnnnggggg on skin and clothes for me. I get 10 hours but the DNA isn't my cup of tea but the longevity and compliments I get make me wear it
Excellent video of comparison perfumes. Very well done and informative. Keep up the good work!
Thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️
Great video Adwoa, you are looking great like always🥰
Thank you so much Laura 🤗❤️
Wonderful video Princess , very helpful and informative, i hope life is good for you and your's and am always sending love and hugs xoxo
Thanks sweetheart. Glad to be of help. I trust you are having a wonderful day. Take care? Lot’s of love ❤️
I love this video - what a great idea to compare similar fragrances! Your thoughts are always so helpful when trying to decide what fragrance to pick up. I was particularly intrigued by your thoughts on Qissa Blue and North Stag, since I have both. I think I would lean slightly toward preferring Qissa Blue over North Stag, only because Qissa Blue has a bit more depth and complexity, while still having that juicy citrus quality of North Stag, which is much more linear. Obviously, it is all about our individual preferences. 😀 I look forward to more comparison videos like this one!❤
Hi Erin !
Thanks for sharing. My first love was North Stag and find it difficult to accept that something else smells as good 😂
Appreciate Qissa Blue as well. Am pleasantly surprised how good it is but my preference is still North Stag 👍😁❤️
@@adwoalovesfragrances5324 Thanks for sharing Adwoa! I always love your reviews and appreciate all of your content - it's so helpful for a fragrance lover like me!❤❤
Good evening Beautiful Adwoa,I hope that everything is lovely!
This was a great video review, it's very easy to wind up with the same fragrance, different brand. This helps to see the differences before I buy, thank you!❤❤❤
All’s well thankfully. Thank you and trust you are too.
Glad you find these useful. I will keep them coming 👍❤️
Hello Adwoa looking lovely as always, i will go with your preferences. Thank you soo much for the good video..👏👏❤️❤️
My Lady! You are welcome and it’s always a pleasure recommending these amazing finds and glad you like them ❤️
Hi gorgeous. Thank you for this video Adwoa. Mmmm I guess I will based it on cost then between caramel cascade and eclaire... Or maybe longevity. Thank you, great video and interesting recommendations 😘😘😘
You’re welcome 😊
Like I said, to be on the safer side, do Eclaire which is not reported to have the ‘root beer’ or mushroom vibe. I never got that though
So glad yoy did a a review of Caramwl Cascade and Eclaire. I hate Eclaire and won't be buying Caramel Cascade now since they smell similar.
Thks dear you looks lovely 🥰
Thanks so much Amal ❤️
Al haramain also launch arabian tonka clone
Mmm I quite liked Melody when I tried all of the Orienticas. I hadn't heard of Madine. 😊
Same here! Never knew about Nadine until about a week ago. I can’t stand the opening of Melodie but this is better than
Dear Adwoa, this was so interesting to watch, thank you for another excellent video and I love hearing how we can avoid to buy perfumes that are similar and I also love how you explained about the 3 rose vanilla inspired perfumes. Personally I think I would perhaps not be bothered by a metallic note as I feel a lot of the first notes in perfumes, you and I react somehow similar as in the 'gasoline' notes we did not smell in one perfume and if I was going to buy one I would chose Ajwad or Qidwah. I love Liam Grey but the weather feels too cold for this one, I am wearing Oudain with a hint of AMETHYST TODAY ( one under my hair on the back of my neck and Oudain on my wrists) I did get tempted and bought Minerva by Maison Alhambra as I did smell the OG and loved it, I read up on all the reviews I could find and also got this for a perfect sales price from my reliable perfume online retailer so I pulled the trigger on this on. Now I really have to stop 😂. But the price was just too good and I wanted this one for a while. I am now re arranging all my perfumes a bit better so I can buy EMPIRE VICTOR by Khadlaj when it gets Down Under at a reasonable price, also still tempted at some much later (more reasonably affordable) stage to get Sehr by Lattafa and also perhaps Teriaq by Lattafa, but all this will be much later as I counted some of my perfumes ( and almost fainted 😅🤣🙃) so I am now officially saying ~stop~ to myself. However I will always continue watching your videos as I still want to be informed and it is my guilty pleasure to live vicariously through you 😂😃. Like watching great cooking shows and not being able to eat those treats but much more informative as it still applies to perfumes I have and I learn about new ones. Thank you for all that you do , dear Adwoa. Winter has arrived with colder than usual temperatures after such a warm May so Oudain can be worn as well as Ameer al Oud Intense and Amethyst and other cold weather perfumes. I found also that because when we wear winter coats and scarves and do not wash the heavy warm coats ( or dry clean them as much as other things) the perfumes we wear tend to linger and I have come across such beautiful scent 'bubbles' because I wear one perfume and smell say 2 other ones on the scarf and coat and magic happens. I now have 3 more layering ideas for perfumes that make me happy. Sorry for the long reply but I was so happy watching this video. 🧡
Lots of love from very cold (8 degrees Celsius at 1 pm, but sunny Tasmania. Tia ❤
💟
I know right! It’s good to be true to one’s self and know when to say no. It’s impossible to have them all. Great decision, Tia 👍👍❤️
@@adwoalovesfragrances5324 Thank you my friend. I remember your video last year when you spoke about the danger of the thrill of buying perfumes and perhaps not knowing when it is time to stop or at least to slow down and make a decision to stop buying when you have all the perfumes you could possibly wear.
I feel blessed as I can watch your videos and enjoy hearing about the perfumes and somehow imagine the new ones so it is not as if I am cut off from my love for perfumes.
I am glad I made the decision as the lack of cupboard space forced me to 'count' ( not properly, I was too afraid 🤣to do that ) and look at how many perfumes I do own.
The funny thing is that Gerry started wearing a fragrance I bought him last year (Desert Oud by Nabeel) , I felt he was underwhelmed when I gave it to him and explained about maceration and also tried to spray it a few times, but after many months he started to wear it ( has so many notes, it is beautiful) and said he felt it smelled amazing but so different from last year , I reminded him of what I said) and now he asked me to get him a back up bottle🤣. So I started searching 2 days ago and to my dismay it has been discontinued but I wrote to several Aussie perfume stores including the one I bought it from and got a reply that they just found one in stock last night so I can buy him this. But that is for Gerry, not for me. I started looking for a fragrance that was similar and nothing came up , I will have to look at this at some time as he will need another one but it was so funny how he finally really likes this scent and is finally wearing Middle Eastern fragrance. ( He still has 2 other ME scents including Ramz Gold which he liked from the start but did not wear it yet as he had another scent he really liked and wore this.)
Lots of love, from a dark gloomy and cold Tasmania (9 degrees at noon) Tia ❤
I love Caramel Cascade because it’s a lighter take. I think I could wear it year round instead of fall/winter only. Also I paired caramel Cascade with a gardenia body wash and lotion and it was beautiful!
It's so good! I don’t know why the hate especially now that there’s Eclair. Love them both 👍❤️
@@adwoalovesfragrances5324it's because it was the first. Another one will come and all the Éclair lovers will move there. It's human nature 😂
That pairing sounds yummy and beautiful!!!!
Too many choices Adwoa. I am ok with to collect anything that smells like Delina ,Bianca Late and Rose vanilla 😅😂
I know right 😂
We like what we like 😂👍❤
Have you tried Thouq and Lahdath by Lattafa Pride? They are Delina and Roses Vanille dupes that don't get much hype but are really good
@@aesinam
They selling them $50 and up
Waiting until the prices go down.
Hello Adwoa, lovely video as always . I wished I heeded to your other video by buying caramel cascade which is the dupe of Bianco latte 😭I would have been less pained .
So I got Bianco latte today and I’m so sad , I do not like it. Ive been struggling so much to like it , I just can’t 😢😭😭. Tbh, I do get the vanilla , but there’s a bite in there that’s just just messing with my skin chemistry, it might be coumarin , it’s just off.
Please do you have a layering recommendations, help a sister 😭
Funny enough I was going to buy Roses D’emotion as you recommended but I changed my mind last minute and bought this cause I thought it was going to be the best thing after slice bread and now I’m stuck crying . The perfume was very expensive as well Adwoa 😭😭😭😭
Oh no! 😮
Sorry sis. I know how it is to blind buy a super hyped product and turning out not being what we expected. Truly sorry about that.
I can only say try and sample through the middle eastern dupes before committing.
Try it with Ragbah Wood Intense and or Ameer Al Oud Intense. I like these combos.
Also try with Black opium and or Jimmy Choo Illicit if you are into Designer perfumes. All these 4 have worked for me ❤️❤️
Hello thanks for the video what is the fragrance that you are picking over melodía ?
It’s called Nadine by Al Watani.
Hope this helps Mayelin. Thanks ❤
Nadine by Al Wataniah
@@onlyme9978 🙏 thank you
I have melodie and yet to use it for any outing. So harsh and so green! As if I am using a herbal drink as perfume. Regretted buying it TBH.
Sorry about that Audrey 😢
I perfectly get that green herbal opening and I equally do not like it. The dry down is beautiful though but it’s unnecessary to put yourself through that offensive opening.
Let’s wait on it more to macerate more 🤞
Aww too bad. I love neroli so I enjoy the green beginning
Hello Adwoa, can you compare Yara Pink by Lattafa, Qissa Pink by Paris Corner, Just Ward by Fragrance World, Hayatti Rose by Fragrance World. Tand let us know which one you prefer. Thank you
Hi Lilly!
I have a video comparing Uara with Hayaati Rose and I pick Hayaati Rose over Yara. Tried my decant of Qissa too and amongst the three I have, Hayaati Rose is my preference. I have not tried just Ward by Fragrance World.
I hope that helps
Thank you ❤️
Qidwah is supposed to be inspired by which perfume?
Sorry I didn’t pick it up
Rose vanilla??? Is it by TF?
Love your reviews thanks so much
It is a Roses Vanille from Mancera dupe.
Thank you ❤️🫶🏾
Also similar to Gentle Fluidity Gold by TF
Rare Jewel is definitely the closest to imperial Valley. My husband loves it too. Even better that the bottle is so similar lol
Good to know! But I guess it’s the least popular dupe. I don’t hear reviewers talking about it
@@adwoalovesfragrances5324 maybe it's lack of access. I didn't know about it either until Thelma told me
@@aesinam I agree
I didn't know about this one until now, while watching this video. Paris corner definitely got better marketing and more accessible
Could Satwa be closer to Ani X? Just wondering. Probably not though lol but I'll like to smell it and compare to my Ani X
Unfortunately, I haven’t smelled Ani x but I haven’t heard anyone comparing Satwa to it
Any other dupes for janoon noir?
None that I currently know of
Sol de Janeiro is hot. But guess what, in Europe 40€ for a mist😅
This weekend I was visiting Douglas, I bought the Guerlain Gentlemen Society Deo, 40€, and the Rituals Hammam 10€. Europe prices.
Sol de Janeiro taxes in the mixture "mist" lange bottle 40€
For men this is is one of the best startings.
Washing yourself wirh Rituals Hammam, then finish skin with Guerlain Society. After noon, then decide further smells 🎉
Say what? That is too pricey, unfortunately 😢
Please is blueberry worth buying? I’m taking about performance pls?
Most definitely. It is worth it but it’s not beast mode. People close can smell you and it’s an enjoyable scent
@@adwoalovesfragrances5324 thank you
Is Qidwah long lasting?
Very long lasting. Eternal 👍
❤❤❤❤
Hey sweetheart! Thank you ❤
Good evening sis question to you or anyone that is reading this. Can I have a good dupe recommendation for Libre le parfum❤
Lattafa Tharwah Gold is supposed to be the one.
@@sharfalor4244 I have tharwah but it smells like libre to me but not le parfum. Thanks for your reply 👍 ❤
Hey babygirl!
I was also thinking about Tharwah gold but that wouldn’t cut it as a dupe for the Le perfume. I honestly have no idea right now. I will try and search for one 👍
@@adwoalovesfragrances5324 thanks boo ❤
Have you tried the Alhambra Libbra line? They changed the name to Leonie I think. They have a Libbra intense, a supposed dupe of Libre Intense but that is quite similar to Le Parfum in the dry down. Maybe they will bring dupes of Le Parfum an Absolu Platine in that line soon
Am I the only one disliking the profile of bianco late? So sweet and nauseting, smelling like food not perfume :(
Hmmmm….
I don’t think you are the only one. Have had few others say same. I personally do like it but like I have said before, I think it is a bit over hyped 😊
IMO, Giardini has better fragrances than Bianco Latte.
❤
Thank you ❤
Watania Nadine smells like YSL Libre Intense on my skin.
