If I can make a suggestion these channels that post to UA-cam need to have what state they are in somewhere in their channels header, or in the video. I have no idea where people are talking about. A county with out a state is useless. Just a suggestion.
My inlaws, who are dairy & crop farmers, once lived in the countryside of Rexville and had their share of storms. I empathize with the families there in Cannisteo. Glad to see the residents are physically ok themselves despite the loss of the items that made their livelihood possible and their homelife secure. 😢
I am sorry for your loss but farmers love bottom land, always near rivers! You never thought one day, where you are, this may happen! It’s sad, but, your land will be better for it, and hopefully you will be too! May God help you to get through this🙏❤️☮️
Sadly the people who built either next to rivers ,creeks are going to have to move to higher ground Mother Nature is going to take back what once was over flow or so called flood plain that includes towns like jasper ,woodhull , or we need to build dikes and clear the creeks of fallen trees to avoid flooding
Looks to still be a barn and farm...looks like you just lost your hay and crops...the cows weren't even hurt? come to vermont where this happens somewhere in our state every year. It is farming. the river overflows anytime in the summer ...you lose your crops...but it appears there is plenty of money there...and we know here in vermont that you guys aren't paying for much of the damages at all, and most that you do spend will be reimbursed. When farms get flooded the farmers all get granted upgrades.

They should have government funded insurance and if not that would be irresponsible. The reporter is light in the britches.
