I LOVE this episode, it's awesome. When I watched the show on Disney+, I watched in production order and so I got to see it in its intended order. It was a lot more satisfying than it would've been to watch in broadcast order, mainly because I actually got to gradually get used to Nelson, as opposed to seeing him there randomly. Ruby's obsession with BBMak was unhealthy, but on the real, they have good music. I like Back Here, Love Is Unpredictable, obviously, another song called Out Of My Heart (Into Your Head), and a song they did for the PRINCESS DIARIES soundtrack called Miss You More, if u haven't heard it, check it out. I also liked seeing Tawny get somewhat territorial over Louis, I found it refreshing. Her line, "I was his friend before he got LUCKY" is priceless. I'm so glad u guys are back, the new story time segments are awesome, especially the Chris Trousdale story, that blew my mind. Great to have u guys back, ur off to an awesome start with season 2. PS: I recently finished watching the Proud Family on Disney+ and in one of the season 1 episodes, this guy in a wheelchair had a crush on Penny and when they met and she invited him to go skiing with her and her family. Unfortunately, that kid turned out to be a jerk and he was voiced by SHIA. Yep, Shia LaBeouf guest-starred in the Proud Family and played a jerky kid in a wheelchair
omg Chris Trousdale *just* passed away from COVID-19 yesterday! I feel so weird about having shared this story now! What are the odds?! 😭💔 (Thank you for listening and commenting as usual though of course! It’s always nice to read your thoughts.)
@@evenstevensranked OMG, what? OMG that's really shocking and crazy. May Chris Trousdale rest in peace, he was a pretty cool guy and a great performer. Thanks for the heads up, appreciate it
I did like this one. I liked BBmac at the time but I didn't consider them as HUGE as the show put it however you made a good point it satirizes the music industry. And it does it damn well. Ruby, to me, represents all the obsessed fangirls I've seen real life. Yes, her equally obsessiveness over Louis is too much cause he's a regular guy. I always wondered how he would react if he knew would he be flattered or not? I would love to see his reaction.
Disney's BBMak promo likely had to do with the "Disney Channel In Concert" series that ran from 97-01. BBMak's ep overlapped with Even Stevens (and Lizzie) being on air. ua-cam.com/video/mBRPnYc8FiU/v-deo.html
RIP Chris Trousdale. A J-14 icon!

In my downloaded episodes, this episode is the last of season 2, it definitely belongs there over being first!
Pleeease can we see your room?!
