i think it would've be difficult to attracted to Joowon's character without Hyunbin. I cannot imagine Joowon without Hyunbin. Some people may think of this character as light and can appeal to viewers easily. But no. People who watched this drama will kknow, it was not easy character to portray but he brings character to life. And Lee Minho is not comparable to Hyunbin's acting.
It warms my heart to see how sweet he is in real life. The part where he got the awards and thanked people for giving him the opportunity to make his parents smile after years of heartache/worry because of his decision to become an actor... I felt that on a deep level.

Re-watching all his dramas and movies and now here watching old interviews. This is one of his best interviews. Hyun Bin was my first Korean crush. Lee Min Ho introduced me to Korean dramas but Hyun Bin mesmerized me and now 10 years later I prefer to watch a Korean drama over anything produced here at home in the U.S.A. I am upset, however, that after 10 years I still haven't learned Korean language so I can skip the subtitles. I've seen this interview before. He's so charming and funny and honest. I think I'm gonna have to go watch Secret Garden again after this interview. He was the first Korean actor or idol that I realized wouldn't be in dramas because of his enlistment. I was so frustrated having to wait for him to get out of the military so he could act again. It was weird waiting for someone to get out of the military so that I could see another drama. Today I'm waiting for Lee Junho to get out of the military. My 2nd Korean crush. Anyway....Hyun Bin....THE BEST!

I disagree. In Secret Garden, Hyun Bin plays a character that can appeal to everybody, younger and older and people of different ages loved this drama and his role. I think Hyun Bin has always been a good actor but he has gotten better with years and if you look at MNIKSS and then SG, you will see that evolution. However some actors stay the same and dont have that multi dimensional base in their acting and in my opinion, Lee Min Ho just dont have it. His acting is very basic.
Hyun Bin is so different from other popular actors in that he is not after the easy route. He will be much popular after Sam Soon if he had chosen the same type of roles but instead chose Snow Queen and Friends. I wish he will do more dramas like Secret Garden that can get him more awards and at the same time will make people love him more. He did not follow the usual light military work for actors. I also wish that he'll have more interviews like this one that's not for promotional purpose for a movie or drama. I've also been looking for pictures of his parents and brother but can't find one. You can tell from this interview that he's smart, kind and really a good person. He became more reserved after military discharge so different from the funny person that HJW described before.
why are you comparing min ho with hyun bin? obviously they cant be compared just by the fact that they are in different acting levels hyun bin have great acting skills and if you see him on his first dramas you can prove it, and we are talking that he was in his twenties, since then he showed his talent, on the other hand min ho has recently starting to grow, just recently, he showed on his last drama, faith, but before faith he always did the same role. So i dont see how they can be compared
I agree! Comparing is not good. Minho is also a good actor trying his best in his role. I think he showed his best acting in 'faith'. I like both of them.
