So there is the tower right? The ATC there is just managing the planes taxing,landing and taking off. The center is there for everything else even if you’re flying through LA‘s airspace.

In real life controllers don't clear aircraft to line up and wait after a plane on approach has known flown over the rwy, because what if they have other aircraft on final for the same rwy, the next aircraft in line to land will have to go around and try again because of the aircraft waiting on the rwy to take off
You said do what the controllers say to do, regardless of your flight plan, but if you put on appr then it will follow your flight plan and you’ll land on the runway that you weren’t meant to land on.😀😀😀

Great training videos mark. I think everyone knows this doesn't apply in the training server. I shouldn't say it doesn't apply but it never happens this way in the training server. Usually whoever is controlling has no clue what they're doing so they don't hand you off at the right times they don't know what factors mean they don't know what flight following means or anything they're just in there playing
definitely get global its so much fun. I normally a flight from africa or somewhere with good scenery then fly to a busy a airport like heathrow and i just spend the whole day doing something else while autopilot is on

"Following" is reserved for VFR Flight, and is only offered Controller work load load permitting. If all IF Trash Haulers get in the habit of requesting "Following" routinely you'll over load the net with unnecessary, incorrect and annoying xmits. Hey Max, it's not a misinterpretation of the FAR/Aim at all. This is simply a way to "balance" between real world and the flight sim until a time comes that we can introduce more IFR related routes within the sim as well as allowing for more available IFATC. We both know how Flight Following is used in the real world for sure, but this is just a way to keep it simplistic within the sim. Can be difficult to fly VFR at FL250 and in the soup. LOL It's just a way in the sim to allow the pilot to follow their own flight plan/route, but to also maintain radar contact with App/Dep/Ctr during their flight.
Ok Chief Pilot. If it's an IF modification of the rule so state it in the narrative. The Fertile minds of future aviators absorb these tutorials. Any time a deviation of the FAR/AIM is introduced to satisfy an IF criteria it should be clearly stated. Just Sayin! Max
I bought infinite flight and I wanted to play multiplayer with atc but I didn’t expect to have to pay flipping £72 just to play with other people and friends. But other than that, I think the game is super cool.
They say to follow the instructions regardless of your flight plan, but the ATC controllers never follow through with the flight following and you are left no knowing what to do. The ATC needs to be more reliable.
In training server just assume the air traffic controller is new and follow your flight plan. Only request vectors for altitude, not heading. Use and apply VFR's or IFR's at all times if at all possible. And finally, use logic, when you see another aircraft on the runway or in front of you on approach or final, near your altitude, regardless of what the air traffic controller says to do, go around. Remember, these controllers are new.

I got asked to reduce speed to 200 knots (which I did) and was then threatened with ghosting for not following instructions?? Do some atc controllers think this is ground speed? Very confusing! Had to quit flight to avoid being reported 😡

I need clarification: During take off you raise gear 500ft above the ground, flaps 0° at 2000ft. Then during landing, flaps 30° at 3000ft and gear down at 2000ft. Then on runway, flaps full. Is this correct?
pilot 0674 I just wing it (no pun intended) But that's generally the idea. If I'm focusing on maintaining speed or altitude I may drop my gear a bit later than that. As long as I'm at the right speed and altitude with my gear down on short final then I'm all good.

All ATC controllers on on infinite are such rookies and don't understand airspaces and the difference between flying in Echo or Golf and Bravo. You get Tower controller sending you an on guard warning telling me im in their airspace at FL140 no where near Bravo. Just because they see you they require you to contacts them .... -_-
I BEEN AT THE ATC FOR 2 week AND I BARELY CAN SEE THOSE GRAY PLANES. So dark. Why??? Why noy bright colors so its easy to Not only see the Blue when u in charge but the Gray when u depending on those arrivals. berkoYT it means if you are "remaining in the pattern" which is a traffic pattern around the airport when the controller say "make left traffic" you would make a traffic pattern to the left. If you're not too sure about traffic patterns you could just google and there would be lots of simple diagrams.
As long as you are flying at 5000 ft AGL or above and there is no approach controller, you do not need to request a transition. However, if there is an active approach controller and you are below FL180, you will need to be in contact with that controller. - MD
No it doesn’t help because I can’t practice , I’m paying £9 a month but can’t communicate , can’t use ils because I can’t follow ATC because I don’t hear them and I can’t click on info for ATC till I’m almost on top of airport. When I’ve done enough landings am I going to be thrown in the deep end with no practice??
Thank you for your inquiry. Let's say that you are taking off from KLAX on Runway 25R and flying to KSEA, you are taking off on a westerly heading, however you are turning North to fly to KSEA. You would announce or request the takeoff at Runway 25R departing North. The runway numbers are based on the direction of the runway. 25R is on a magnetic heading of 251º, which is the number that is assigned to it. We hope that this clears it up for you. - MD

When you're taxing, How do you know which direction is a specific runway? There's no signage to direct you to the runways so I'm completely lost!
The runway Number is the heading of the runway
Mark Littles the numbers by the end of the runway
Check your map it will indicat where the runway is, but youll have to go there yourself with no guides just go to the name

The easiest way is to look at where the planes mostly take off at but it won't always work

Turn off nav and drag up on the heading tab to turn right and drag down the heading tab to turn left .

They don’t need to do that all the time. I spotted at LAX in real life and I see Boeing 777’s and 787’s doing what he did.

I put flaps full about 10 seconds from touchdown. Makes a lot smoother though you have to time it perfectly or you will stall.
If I’m at cruising altitude and close my app but keep it running in my background or do I have to stay on infinite flight the whole flight
i think you do, unfortunately. would be nice if it would run in the background though. make it much easier to do long haul flights

I can't play on grade 2 or 3 or can't communicate with Tower why please can anyone help me pls??
